Extremely poor customer service and lack of understanding and zero compassion for people with disabilities and mental health issues. As a support worker I took my client to eat at Pink Flake and my client get social anxiety around people and can be loud. The man who appeared to be the owner and his son basically told us to leave the place and barely wanted to take my order. When I explained my client’s condition and they guy/chef told me no no no and kept shaking his head and said it’s too much. The place was empty and it was raining outside, he told us you can’t eat here but order your food and I’ll bring it outside to you. I couldn’t believe the discrimination and the lack of respect, my client did calm down and we waited for the food inside as it was pouring rain outside. They food was quickly giving to us and we wear pointed out of the place. I couldn’t believe this!

My favourite Fish and Chips in St Kilda. Staff are friendly and you can order take away or dine in. The house salad has fresh ginger and it's amazing. The onion rings are also very crunchy and tasty ❤️ I will always recommend Pink Flake

$33 for this yummy meal, quite affordable.Burger with the lot was goodand my husband said is one of the best Burgers he's had. The fish pack was great too, even Dim sim is nice.Recommend adding salt as they don't put on any for yourself but they provide it for you to put.

Great quality, prices and service. I ordered a single size portion and I usually eat A LOT. Yet, this time the portion was so big that I couldn’t even finish it all. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks a lot for the great hospitality and fish&chips.Also, do not forget the lemon wedges, elevates the taste.Not sure if it is indeed the best one, but considering the price and quality it is probably one of the best in the city.

Possible the best fish and chips I have eaten. Try the flake which has a 'flaky' texture like crab meat. The barramundi grilled and seasoned was awesome too. Reasonable price. Lunch set is only $10.

Quintessential Fish N Chip shop, at attractive prices, close to the beach.The batter is light and crispy. The fish, Flake and NZ Dory, are both very fresh. The chips, golden, crunchy and creamy. And the salad, often an afterthought at other places, is fresh, crunchy and thoughtful. I really enjoyed having pickled ginger on my garden salad! A wedge of lemon and dressing are included in the pocket friendly price. Service is friendly and quick.

Just wow, some of the best fish and chips I have ever eaten.I ordered the pack for one which was $18.50 and came with a large portion of well cooked calamari. 2 decent sized flake servings, chips and a Greek salad, Loads of food!My Girlfriend ordered the fish wrap and enjoyed that too, though I have to say that the calamari was the star of the show.
