This company also provides air conditioning services under the Mr Emergency name. We rang, explained the issue, we advised the error code on our ducted system that was not working. They took a $140 fee over the phone via credit card (this should have triggered alarm bells)!The next day a technician comes out, goes in the ceiling and looks around and says well I'm not really sure what's wrong but we will need to do a service" on the unit (which when you read what it entails is basically cleaning it) and he reckons it fixes 70% of problems. I said so what diagnosis have you done? We know it's error 422 which if you google pertains to the Electronic Expansion Valve what actual troubleshooting have you done to know what parts to order?The tech was dumbfounded and I asked him what his qualifications were and turns out he's a Plumber...Absolutely rip off garbage company charging $140 for an unqualified tech to do absolutely nothing. Never will use again."
