Great authentic Italian find!We decided at late notice in a Monday to eat out & this was one of the few restaurants open.I'm glad all the others were closed as we may not have found this delight!Very generous sized meals, from the bread with olive oil / balsmaic, to the huge entrees of calamari and zucchini flowers, and the abundance of seafood in the marinara and large spread of veal in the scallopini.Service was present without being overbearing.We grabbed a take away child size pizza from the wood fired oven for our sick son who's stayed home and it looked fabulous & smelt amazing on the drive home.My only complaint would be the sheer variety of options of meals, pasta and pizza, so I suppose we'd better come back then!

My Italian blood kicked again and so my craving for pasta, so my partner started the research and it brought us here! Good choice, the food was absolutely full of flavour and the staff very nice!We had as starter a classic, bruschetta al pomodoro, so simple but so tasty! Then we decided to get two different main and split in half to have a bit of taste of both, gnocchi funghi e salsiccia and rigatoni alla norma, so yummy!And of course, you can’t finish an Italian dinner without few rounds of digestive, homemade limoncello and herb liqueur!Bella Italia, see you soon next time we are in Newcastle!

The Italian restaurant, ah a delightful dining destination the food was singular, with its fantastic plates of pasta. And the gnocci, light as a feather. And the pizza! Cooked to perfection, in the oven. The ambiance, it is warm and welcoming, like being in the arms of a loved one. And the staff, they are like family, always with a smile. A true gem of a place, it is. I highly recommend to make a booking, and see if you can't find anything better in Newy

My partner and I where in newcastle. H was craving for Italian food, so I did what I do best. I found this amazing Italian restaurant. IWe had as starter a classic, bruschetta al pomodoro, so simple but so tasty! , gnocchi funghi e salsiccia and rigatoni alla norma, so yummy!And of course, I had to finish the Italian dinner without few rounds of digestive, homemade limoncello and herb liqueur!Bella Italia, thank you so much. We can not wait to come and try other dishes from your menu!

My husband walked into this very busy Italian restaurant after a long trip from Sunshine Coast on our way to Victoria. We were welcomed warmly, and had our order taken quickly. We were soon apologised to by the waiter for the time it was taking, which was not very long at all. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and the Mushroom Risotto, and 2 glasses of wine. When we tasted the meals, we knew why there were so many people there on a Monday night. This is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful staff and we would recommend it to anyone. We will come again, next time we are in Newcastle.

My partner and I stopped by here after wanting a quick bite to eat on our way home. Very happy we did! I ordered the linguine marinara and he ordered the mushroom risotto. We could not fault the food. Was so flavorsome. The wait staff were amazing and the food was on our table quickly.

Good but not great. Food was about a C, both pizza & pasta quite bland. Waiting staff did a great job and the turnaround was quick! However, with the front of house manager valuing efficiency & ordering people around, the homey and warm culture of an Italian food & dining experience was sorely lost.
