Spent a lot of money here from store opening, Turbo 500 with all the expensive accessories. Recently family purchased Kegerator Kit for me, it makes a noise it shouldn't and had a faulty tap. Tap was replaced and Kegerator may be replaced so that is a good thing. Seeking advice however regarding flat beer in kegs is another matter with a returned phone call today from Mal basically telling me he has never ever experienced so many issues before, making me feel that it was all my fault, an inconvenience and he appeared to be quite upset. This equipment was purchased to support small local business rather than saving hundreds of dollars buying online with the idea that there would be support and advice offered, sadly not the case. $1,100 to produce flat beer not knowing cause or how to rectify, I now find myself seeking advice elsewhere, what a joke!I will never enter this shop again. Happy to take the money but little patience towards customers requesting after sales advice, be warned!

Amazing service and very generous with their knowledge. These guys want you to succeed in your home brewing. If you fail, you will give up and won't go back so it is in their best interests to help you do well!I've been purchasing all my home brew gear from there and their new Springfield store, and will continue to do so due to the continuous rising prices for commercially available beer that never tastes as good as a quality home brew!

The in house beer homebrew kits taste nothing like homebrew (no need to buy store bought beer, add some hops n dextrose and you won't be missing ANYTHING commercial.) It will exceed. Honest homebrewing store with Wine making/Beer/BBQ Smoking/Vape/Raw honey/Sausage making/Distillery equipment. (Local honey makes very tasty mead). No drama in ordering in ingredients or equipment not in stock or listed. Can't fault this store.

This is without doubt the best home brew shop I’ve used in over a decade of home brewing. I’ve always found Mal to be knowledgeable, friendly and very willing to give advice or assistance in solving any problems I have.These days the occasional problem with imported, mass produced products is to be expected. The countenance to this is lower prices and thankfully retailers like Mal who thankfully still exist to provide quality after sales service compared to online ‘shops’.Unfortunately what some people don’t realise is that brewing and carbonating good beer is an art form that takes time to master. Therefore mistakes are inevitable but should instead be used as learning opportunities as practice makes perfect…eventually.Criticising a home brew retailer for mistakes you’ve made is like bagging your car dealer coz you haven’t yet learnt how to drive!A few years back I changed from bottles to kegging via a kegerator. This in undoubtedly the best move I’ve ever made even though getting the hang of gas carbonation and balance still results in the occasional flattish beer. But as I said it is trial and error thing and I am still learning and refuse to give up.Occasionally when I feel that home brewing isn’t worth the effort or expense I visit the local bottle shop to remind myself of the increasingly extortionate prices they charge these days even for very ordinary mass-produced rubbish. My negative feelings soon go away.I’ve been in Mal’s shop on several occasions when customers have complimented him on his low prices and excellent service compared to other shops. I’m even aware of customers who travel from as far as Toowoomba to shop there. So he must be doing something right.

Good range of products. Prices are generally a little below other brew shops. Stock levels are well managed. Need to park on the street usually.

So your looking for brewing supplies, after all nice weather coming, and that is important for us brewers right? Then right this IS THE ONE.This place has all your needs, with a bigger brighter and smiley kinda a place the one stop shop. Summer is coming on so get in there you will be very surprised at what is on offer and just what is available, great staff with great knowledge and more important the experience, all this can only help you towards your ultimate drop. Go now, you have your tax return what more do you want.

SMOKER SUPPLIES: good of jerky seasoning, nitrate and wood chips for smokers. Bought a citrus rub for chicken and have a whole chicken cooking. Excited to use the jerky seasoning tomorrow.Hopefully they expand their seasoning range for more variety. Was chasing apple pellets or wood chips.

As a new brewer it was good to be able to go in and have a chat. I was able to show a recipe and when some items weren’t available, there were suggestions for alternatives.Brewing is pretty overwhelming when starting so it’s good to know I can go here and get the help needed.

Prices are fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Been using them for years and will continue to do so.
