Delicious food and friendly service. Was my first time visit here. I am surprised with the quality and taste of this small local cafe. I had the eggs benedict, the acidic level of the hollandaise sauce is just right. Very nice coffee also. Highly recommend! Toronto you got a little gem there.

Great Cafe that I go to quite frequently. Staff are great, always friendly and the best customer service. Everything is presented well, food is always spectacular and the best coffee in Lake Macquarie.

This place is amazing. My family and I in total of ten people had an excellent breakfast sitting outside. The staff is very kind and attentive, the food and drinks arrived within a timely manner, and of course, the food and drinks are super delicious. Lastly, the price is so reasonable. Thanks to Cafe 2283, we had beautiful meals before heading back to Sydney on that day. I highly recommend it to anyone stopping by to try this place out.

Sad feelings a non 5 review, our juices were nice, the wait was a long 45 minutes. And watch as others who came after us received there lunch first. Feel we were forgot, burger was really nice, chips was good. The mushrooms were cold, the toast was so hard I couldn’t cut it, was not a nice meal disappointed ☹️

I have been here several times now with my 4yo niece and the team have always been friendly and accommodating of the 4yo requests include bringing out a very cute baby chino with 2 marshmallows, a hot chocolate with no marshmallows and the children's fish and chips meal with white sauce (aoli) instead of red sauce (tomato sauce). I forgot to take a pic of the meal before but there wasn't much left which is always a good sign. The adult meals are large serves and tasty too.

Beautiful hot chocolate (comes with marshmallows) and perfect burgers with a generous amount of fresh ingredients, great location, super nice staff and super low price!Warmly recommended
