This was my very first time witnessing the Chinese New Year and it was indeed a brilliant experience. The people, the happiness, the enthusiasm and the clebrations were all very heart warming and beautiful.This is one of the stating points where it seems that I will fall in love with this city.

Our evening in Melbourne's Chinatown was a feast for the senses, as we indulged in some of the most mouth-watering and budget-friendly dishes in town. Starting at Shanghai Street, we savoured the delicate flavours of the best dumplings we've ever tasted. Next, we headed to Dainty Sichuan Hotpot, where we were treated to a first-class dining experience and some of the most flavourful and spicy Sichuan-style noodles we've ever had. Finally, we made our way to Dessert Story, where we indulged in a decadent and delicious dessert that was the perfect end to our night. A 100/100 experience to have if you visit Melbourne CBD

Amazing culture very busy but also the food experience was exactly what we were looking for, customer service everywhere was exemplary you don't get that kind of customer service on the Gold Coast or in Sydney so hats off to the staff and people of Melbourne

There were so many hotels, snack items and bakeries available in this lane. During the nights the lights are amazing. The view would give you the cinema effect. The cheesecake taste was extremely good in this area. Try having different items in different restaurants.

If you like Chinese food it is a good place. Otherwise, it doesn’t worth it to go and visit this place as a tourist attraction. It’s just restaurants and some shops.

CNY celebrations are incredible here, the mass of people and lion dances are simply awesome.Cannot deny, the food is always great at every restaurant I've attended, too!

Good place to eat good dumplings and verify of good Chinese cousine. But unlike China Town that I have seen in other cities and other countiresI have visited , what I see here mostly restaurants here not many shops or any other activities.
