I am enjoying my stay here... I have been living here since Feb 2019 and will be here for a while now... It's a bit expensive to live here though. But worth it....

Everything is run relatively smoothly here. This is mainly because of Laura in the admin office who is a superb intelligent professional lady that knows every student by name. Every time I met her she made my day. Sometimes she offers chocolate to the students. She always genuinely wants to help in whatever way she can. As long as Laura works there you will be in good hands.I felt home here. I made lots of good friends. And despite the fact that many students complain about the food, I think it's not bad at all.

The 3 years I stayed at uni hall mark some of the most memorable times of my life.I preferred it to the other colleges due to its proximity to the main campus , encouragement but no pressure from the Residential Life Coordinators (RLC's) to participate in events, and the fantastic opportunity to make life long friends.

Absolute money drain. Had to pay a ridiculous “ResClub” fee at the beginning of my lease that they made appear as if it was a bond and then said it was non-refundable after I chased it up. I never saw any benefits of this so called “ResClub,” unless you call being neglected and isolated a rEsCLuB

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ADULT LIFEIsolation and emotional manipulation, for two years. University Hall is undoubtedly the worst college for UWA.I warn you: the moment you move in, the staff will say, literally anything, to get you to stay. This includes lying, and emotional blackmail.Essentially, don't ever talk to the staff. Don't talk to the staff. Ever. Don't even look at them. Don't tell them anything.EVERYTHING you say, they will use to manipulate you. You have been warned.1) Members of staff bully residents into not leaving, 2) there exists widescale racial segregation of residents, 3) anti-white bias and continual hostility. You should be careful. Members of staff at Hall are skilled manipulators, and will say and do anything to prevent you from leaving. They don't care about your wellbeing. Only that you don't leave.I moved into Hall at 22 years of age. I had no contact with friends or family from back home. This shouldn't be an issue, as I had, in 2018, spent a year at another college, and made an abundant number of friends in that year.Hall was... Different...My time at Hall started with around three months of not talking to anybody at the college. It ended with four months of the same.In other words: I wasn't talking to people at Hall. And I wasn't talking to family or friends from home. I was talking to nobody. This is much worsBreakfast alone, and then lunch alone, and then dinner alone, for over two years, seriously gets to you. I just wanted to talk about economics and connect with people, but, nope.Hall is designed for international students, who phone home. Not for young adults.Parties are banned. Alcohol is banned. Relationships between students are banned. Friendships, are all but banned. It is a twisted reality, in which nothing makes sense.I said, continuously, while at Hall, to staff, and others, that I was feeling incredibly lonely. I spent three Christmases at Hall completely alone.Whenever I asked to leave University Hall, I was emotionally blackmailed:But everyone will miss you"
