Ordered a Black forest torte from uber, and it was sooo delicious! The portions of the cake was big as well! Have to try their cheesecakes next time :)

The quality of the black forest torte is poor to say the least. The cake was dry, the cream only on top and between the layers with plastic wrapped around the cake. The cake was very light chocolate and the flavour had just a hint of chocolate. Not the quality black forest torte from 2-3 years ago. It's so disappointing, your paying the same price for a cake that does not have cream on the sides anymore like it used to, which was chocolate also but now has less of the standard ingredients in the baking. Yet we are charged the same price for something the franchise calls black forest torte". Making a profit seems more important these days than making a quality product."

Ordered a cake from Sydney to celebrate my son's birthday at Cairns. On the day of picking up , we called (have proof 5 times called )and informed on the way ,he told will wait. We reached 3:58PM and shop was closed. Again called couple of times and left a voice message also.We end up buying some other cake for my son and managed. Then, I called the Shop next day to ask about this, he told1. I was there still 5:00pm,and no one came -that is the biggest lie ,I ever heard. As myself with 4 of my friends went to pickup the cake on that day. Then the conversation went very rude from his side and start saying bad words (I have to reply also ).I trust the brand ,but unfortunately this franchise needs to learn more about dealing with customer.If he told just ,one courtesy apologies,it could take to different kind of conversation and no need to put a bad review at all.Worst ever experience I have faced ,and he told going to block me.. I am an customer,blocking me going to spread the bad words about your brand and business only mate

We ordered a rainbow cake and it was as ordered.Lots of fun with a good texture and plenty of cream.The shop was quite busy when we went there do there was a short wait.

The cake was wrecked and the manager was absolutely rude. He new the product was like that but sold it to us anyway. We ordered it in advance so he's got all my details but refused to refund. We've been shopping at this shop for a long time but never again.

Bought dozens of cakes from The Cheese cake shop in Cairns, always get good service, the cakes are always delicious and soft!! Very aesthetically pleasing too

Wanted to treat myself to a chocolate black forest torte for my 50th birthday, they had a pink one on display with plenty of shaved chocolate in the middle. Was shocked to see they are now $50! I was given one from out the back and much later opened lid to discover it had no shaved chocolate on top. Rang to complain and was told the one on display is wrong. The cake was certainly not a chocolate torte. I was given the most disgusting strawberry jam filled vanilla cake I have ever tasted. I will never set foot inside another Cheesecake Shop for the rest of my life. I can make far better tasting cakes using packet mixes from Coles. I am very disappointed, and the cake ruined the one part of the day I had really looked forward to.

Not sure why cheesecake shop had to change something that didn’t need changing. We’ve always loved the classic cream and crumb around the edges of the cake. Everyone at the birthday had all said the exact same thing regarding this. Plastic around the edge of the cake, tacky and just left the edges dry and barely any cream between the layers. Miss the old style cakes.

Do not spend money here. This place is such a discrace to the franchise. Not even worth 1 star. I've had to go there a few times each time with high hopes thinking they've improved or maybe had a bad day. Each time they disappointment. The customer service, the cleanliness, even the taste of the cake couldnt make up for the overall lackness of this shop. It's a disgrace go to hummingbird or my little bakehouse.Do better guys. Teach your staff better customer service.

Great selection of pre made cakes and the options to order cakes not on display for pick the next day, friendly staff and great service. Can be a little difficult to get a park at times. But other than that it is well positioned and a great store
