Very interesting place to visit. Whaling, Tin mining & Grazing history. Would have liked to watch the video, but not operational on our visit. Well worth the visit.

Interesting and informative but lighting poor in some areas so difficulty reading some of the texts that are on display.

At only $5 for a family this place is a bargain. Some very interesting items on display. Don't miss the Tin Dragon display at the back corner about early Chinese settlers. It goes into two separate rooms from the main display area

I’d love to see the extremely sexist poem about ‘why ship is like a woman’ banished for eternity. Both the laminated version on the wall and the printed copies for people to take home. The staff were lovely, however.
