Clarendon Arms Restaurant
What a beautiful pub. Tastefully decorated with old wooden furniture, stunning stained glass and antler decorations on the walls. It is definitely more restaurant quality than pub. Food was out of this world and friendly service to go with it. Our wine glasses were old fashioned crystal glass. That was a nice touch.We will be back.

One of our favourite breakfasts in Tazzy. The food was very well presented and it tasted as beautiful as it looked. Staff were very warm and friendly and the atmosphere just takes you to another space in time.

Great spot, beautiful old pub with some good craft beers on tap (Tamar Valley, Hobart Brewing and Shambles). Beer garden is a great big area, with a grassy area and some games for kids to play. Spicy Kimchi burger is a winner. Tick tick tick.But...a watch-out for anyone ordering the lamb wrap. We were let down a little when the menu said it came with chips, but then arrived without. When enquiring after receiving our meals, we were told it was due to the potato shortage and they couldn't serve them to us, even though we'd paid for them. No offer of discount or alternative, we were just told stiff". Seemed money grabbing on their part

The quintessential old pub experience.I have been a couple of times, years apart, and highly recommend the Clarendon Arms.The menu is pretty broad, and the food is nicely presented and very tasty.The feel inside is olde world and warm.Great pub.

Relaxed atmosphere under large trees in this awesome beer garden. Had the Ploughman’s Platter with sourdough, cold meat, cheese and pickles and it was the best meal I've had during my entire stay in Tassie.... Great place for lunch.

We went in expecting a nice pub meal but turns out this is more a fine dining restaurant. The decor is beautiful inside. The menu is limited and the prices on the high side. Food was fairly good although the protions were small. We had the entree sourdough and olives which is recommended for 2 but is actually just two slices of bread and a couple of olives (tasty but not very much of it). My pork belly was a little fatty but flavours were good. The Porterhouse steak was ok but would have been nice if it came with some veges.Perfect if you want something fancy, but don't be too hungry.
