We loved talking to the wine maker Norbert. Was extremely welcoming and kind to us. Not to mention his wines are delicious.10 / 10 experience.

I tasted their Riesling with lunch at the local pub and was smitten. As their cellar door was only 10 minutes away we dropped in to explore further. We sat down and enjoyed a chat and tasting with Pam and Norbert. Shared stories about travel and wines. Norbert has developed a number of Shiraz, he has a nose for subtle differences and varying tastes. They have recently won a number of awards and their are sourced for local and metro events and overseas.

We had a fabulous tasting at Mia Valley Estate and Norbert was an amazing host. We left with a case of gorgeous wines and literally cannot wait to be back! Highly recommended if you are in the area...

Been drinking Mia Valley Estate wines for years now after the recommendation from Toby of the Heathcote Wine Hub(a must visit if in the area...) and finally got to visit the actual winery yesterday and what a trip it was.Norbert and Pam have got to be the most laid back and certainly the most generous wine makers I have ever met in my life. Both of their knowledge of wine making and around the Heathcote area in general is simply astounding and they love sharing it with their customers.I was with a close friend and we had the pleasure of spending over 4 hours with Norbert, Pam and two of their friends that were there at the time, Wayne and Julia. It was more like a catchup with friends than a wine tasting at a winery that we've never been to before!Their wines are absolutely beautiful, extremely hard to fault and consistently good. We ended up buying a few boxes but there was a few stand out bottles for me.The 2019 Reserve Shiraz(No label yet...), a beautiful young cool climate plummy Shiraz with a great finish, should age beautifully too i think. The 2011 Reserve Shiraz, a very well rounded bottle having primary, secondary and tertiary aromas. This one just had it all. Also, the 2008 Red Cloud sparkling Shiraz had massive fruit aromas and tastes with a very fresh finish! Perfect for the coming holidays. On top of all that, their prices are a steal compared to other wineries. You will get twice if not trice the value buying their wines over other larger big name wineries, in my opinion.Do yourself a favor and stop and say hello to Pam and Norbert when you are in the area and try some of their beautifully crafted wines. Guaranteed you will not regret it.

Fantastic wines at affordable prices. But more importantly, Norbert (the wine maker) was absolutely lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable. One of the best winery experiences I've ever had!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY!I wanted to buy every single bottle I tasted; absolutely magnificent wines done the proper traditional way. Each expression had a uniqueness to it but all were smooth, easy to drink and beautiful. Some of the reserves which are already delicious, rated 92 and 93 points from James Halliday, could be cellared to become absolute perfection. And this is without mentioning the amazing hospitality from the owners/winemakers Norbert and Pam. We were the only ones there at that time (it was early and stinking hot), we ended up tasting most of their wines on offer and talking for an hour and a half. Norbert is extremely knowledgeable and exudes passion for his wine; you can tell he takes great pride in his work and loves to see people enjoy the liquid embodiment of their soul.If you are in the Heathcote area, you must visit this small and quaint vineyard. They are at the top of my list for the region and I personally will visit them again in the near future. My only regret is that my car and my wine cellar isn't bigger...

I can't recommend this winery enough! We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted with plenty of incredible wine to taste, and lots of friendly discussion! We felt right at home here, and enjoyed every drop of wine - so much so that we each left with a case each! If you're in the area, I highly recommend dropping in! You won't regret it.

Driving home after a trip to Ballarat what better to do than follow road signs to a winery. Now I have done this many times and I think it leads to an open winery with tastnmg maybe 25% of the time. So I almost gave up as the signs seemed to be endless but we got there. The Wines were great the owner was laid back and loved to talk. He proceeded to tell me that he went haves in one vintage with another local who happened to play in the punk band Cosmic Psychos. Im sure he didn’t expect me to know the band but I saw them live the last December and had some songs on rotation. Anyway , this was a little gem of a winery to find and exactly why I follow the signs. Go if you canSo lets rate the cellar door (out of 5)Wine price ****Wine Selection ****Cellar Door **X Factor ***Staff ****Would I visit again… definatly
