Was in the store today and enquired about an item that’s been sitting there since May 2022. Today is December 2022. Ask mature aged woman with Indonesian heritage if she could ask the manager to reduce the price a little. She told me arrogantly that we don’t mind our items sitting in the store for a year or 2 years. It don’t matter! We have had many offers and we didn’t accept any of it. That wasn’t my question I was thinking to myself! Bric a bric are so over priced and most are ordinary junk. Nothing special. There’s a set of 4 Spode blue and white saucers for $40??? No cups! Ha ha what a joke! The linen section is miserable and a waste of space. Could use it for more profitable items. It’s a wonder why so many of your Vinnies stores have closed down over the years. Not surprised at all. Not manned by the right people who knows how to run a business. Not donating here again which I have done over 10 years living in Neutral Bay.

I recently visited this store and upon making a purchase I left my wallet behind. I rang the next day to see if it was still there and the staff were very helpful over the phone, letting me know they had it. I went in to collect and all my cards and money still in tact. Thank you for your honesty.

Overpriced and extremely rude. I suspect their prices are used to subsidise their advertising campaign. Have, like many op shops nowadays, lost the ethos of what they were established for.

Horrible and rude management! Tried to swap pants that didn’t fit me and they said they don’t have a swap/return policy. And since I didn’t try them on straight away in their fitting rooms it was my problem. Never set foot in this place ever again! They have very nice stuff and I am a regular customer, but it’s not worth the stress after being treated like that!

Unfortunately we were accused of stealing clothes before we could even try on the things we liked. The volunteer lady (black long hair, glasses) checked on us three times, pointed out very impolitely that there are security cameras on watch, we even offered that she could have a look into our backpack but She was so rude that we put back all the beautiful items on the rags (just as they commanded) and left. It is an awesome shop, big selection of different styles, we loved the clothes we found but We were so sad and disappointed of how we were treated that we wouldn’t recommend going there.

Op shops are supposed to be affordable, not more expensive than buying brand new clothing. The prices at this store are ridiculous - they want $250 for an old coat. It's a charity, you guys receive free clothes. If you want to help the planet and people, you need to lower your prices. Also lately your staff has been treating customers as if they were criminals as they are constantly watching what you bring into the change room, how many items and want to check people's bags when they leave the changing room. I was there 2 weeks ago and this lady was closely watching me around the whole store, even organising every item I touched - I think your staff may be a little bored? Perhaps instead of treating customers who pay good money for your stock like criminals, they can use their time lowering the store's prices or doing a sale rack :)

So expensive. No wonder why they have so many clothes just sitting there - if your prices were lower, more people would be buying from you. A jacket for $90, tops for $25... it's too much guys, please re-consider your prices and your ethos. This is supposed to be for charity, not for profit

Found a Salvatore Ferragamo bag here for $10, needed repairs, fixed now. Lovely staff, good quality donations, thank God for Vinnie's doing great work, proceeds assist the underprivileged in the local area, happy to pay their prices as it's for a wonderful cause.
