Coconut Grove Panel and Paint

I had to get the registration plates fixed onto my car as there were no holes to insert the screws and attach the plates. I decided to pop into Coconut Grove Panel and Paint and see if they could do it for me. The lady in the office was very kind and arranged for a member of their workshop team to do it right away. The person that affixed the plate ensured he fixed the plate in the centre and checked with me to ensure I was happy with the placement. They even painted the screws to match the plate so they are not visible. I was very pleased with the prompt, friendly and professional service. Thank you!

Warning think twice about using Coconut Grove, we Recently had our new Toyota Parado VX repaired by coconut grove which was unfortunately damaged being transported from interstate, upon presenting to premisses & receiving quote team seemed quite professional, however I was wrong!& regret using coconut grove as quality of workmanship was very sloppy, upon picking up pearl white Toyota which they we’re trying to rush out the door before they closed Friday for the weekend, it was obviously noticeable the brand new car had the whole left hand side repaired I could still see the door dent which had just been painted over, I pointed this out to the manager at the time, he recommended taking car home cleaning & returning if not happy.When sat in vehicle I noticed it was extremely dirty with fine sanding dust through out cabin, as the windscreen was replaced & obviously they didn’t coverup! new windscreen had overspray on it, obviously didn’t coverup in work shop either.Once I cleaned the vehicle it was very noticeable of poor workmanship, door which was meant to have dent removed was still obvious to eye, rear door had humidity bubbles in clear & felt like sand paper from over spray, chrome trim was not reinstalled properly, part of roof were they blended paint was left sanded with nil clear as they taped over.I rang Jason owner who seem like a nice guy, however runs business from a different State & only goes on what work shop manager feeds-back, Jason said bring the vehicle back & his team will fix, we went to & from a couple of times pointing out obvious defects, once they finally finished my wife picked up vehicle which she called me very disappointed with, Jason the owner called me back saying they tried there best & offering to have a dent a mobile dent removal come out & rectify, however I explained more than just the still noticeable dent!We have gone back to insurance company & will rectify through another repairer… most probably Arafura who are highly recommended around Darwin, I’ll keep you all posted.Regards

Jason and the Coconut Grove Panel and Paint team provided exceptional service and exceeded my expectations. My VW Golf had extensive damage to the front bumper and bonnet, and after getting my car back it looked brand new- I was amazed with the quality of the workmanship. Big thanks to the team for the quick turnaround and great service, I highly recommend them for any panel or painting works.

I can highly recommend CGP&P. Have used them a number of times over many years. Have just had repairs completed on my SS ute. Their work is always of the highest standard, Jess in the office is excellent to deal with & Jason (owner) is always professional, understanding & responsive.

Just had my 100 series Landcruiser body repaired at Coconut grove panel and paint, I’ve had work done at numerous body shops before and these guys were second to none, I’m based in Katherine and they were very accomodating with picking up and dropping off my vehicle to and from a transport company to freight between darwin and Katherine.The repair itself is top notch and came out looking like new, pricing was very reasonable and transparent.You’re going to want to check out my before and after photos… wowWill be back in future, thanks very much guys!- Jack

The worst customer service experience ever. The lady who was sitting in the office had zero experience in how to deal with customers. Needs a lot of training on customer service. Customer service is not her game unfortunately.

I have been to these guys twice now and was impressed the second i arrived, a spotless workshop is always a great indication of someone who cares about their business.My car is bit of a wallaby magnet and these guys have done a great job both times i have used them.

Absolutely unprofessional in dealing with customers. The lady sitting at the front desk doesn't even know how to talk to customers. She is predetermined that the customers talking to her are attacking her. She doesn't even have the patience to listen to customers, though they are not seen to be busy at all. The owner who talked only on the phone is equally aggressive and does not want to listen to what we say and he says he doesn't want to change his style. In a business, the customer should be treated in a decent way. But here we are treated like slaves - no right to ask any questions. A job which requires half a day or maximum a day took 4 days with them and no questions can be asked. The lady collects the key from you and you collect the key on the day they say and leave the premises without uttering a word. Will never ever go to them. I would have given zero star if I could.

Wow! The repairs to my car were outstanding! Workshop and office were immaculate. Very reasonable price for repairs. John spent a lot of time going over and explaining the process of repairs. Beautiful job! Thank you, Coconut Grove Panel and Paint!
