Colour 18 Wedding

With less than 3 months to plan our big day, overwhelmed and in a panic, we took our chances and hired colour 18 to help us. Let me start off by saying Anni came in and saved the day, she took the stress out and was able to deliver everything we wanted, above and beyond. Anni is very experienced in the industry and is committed to excellence, what I liked about her service was that she gave advice while being respectful and flexible with our decisions, and our budget. Especially recommended if you are Australian with Chinese speaking parents/family as she was able to cater to all our needs and keep all parties happy. We highly recommend colour 18, thank you again Anni and team for an amazing wedding!

We cannot thank Anni and her team enough for making my dream wedding a reality. From the initial consultation through to the big day itself, she was constantly communicating with us to make sure that she captured every little detail from our vision.Her team members are also professional, friendly and absolute legends. They had added extra touches to elevate the final look. Summer, our photographer, Tony, our videographer, are very professional and wonderful, did an amazing job to help us to get the best look.Thank you for making my vision a reality. It felt like yesterday... I stumbled across Anni and Colour18 by chance whilst Google searching for a place which provided traditional Chinese tea ceremony dresses. Unlike most brides, I had no idea what I wanted for my big day - no colour schemes, no dress preference, no hair and makeup preference - in other words, I was lost and oblivious to what a wedding required.I had an appointment with Anni with the intentions of purchasing a custom-made cheongsam. Instead I ended up picking one of Anni's packages which really helped ease my stress during the wedding planning! There were original concerns wondering what the final product would be like as I didn't know anyone who used her services and I didn't know what to expect but all those doubts were for nothing!Being in the industry for so long, Anni knew exactly what we were looking for and made so many suggestions (which kept our parents happy). She went above and beyond to deliver the best she could given the circumstances (with recent flooding it meant a price increase and lower number of florals).Thank you Anni (no amount of words could express how thankful and grateful I am towards you) - for all of your advice, wisdom, patience, dedication and hard work. I really wouldn't have known what to do without you. I'm pretty sure if I didn't find you I would have given up on a wedding! You recommended a skin specialist to me, got your husband involved to help distribute our different bonbonnieres, found gorgeous dresses which suited me (I know I'm not your average body type), kept the night running smoothly so no one would have to approach us with questions - but before all that you helped plan this beautiful wedding which everyone really, really loved and enjoyed! (Quite literally.. Anni did all my thinking for me and knew what I wanted before I knew it myself).Thank you to your team.1. Doy - The wedding cake was as we had envisioned (and tasted so good too - so moist and flavourful).2. Vivi (my makeup artist for the day) - She followed me around all day to touch up my hair and makeup from the early morning until late at night. She helped me get into my dress as well as helped me get around all day. Thank you so much for making me look and feel beautiful and for all of your hard work.3. Selina - For patiently fitting me into every single dress each time we had a fitting and for making our venue look beautiful. You really went above and beyond.4. Florist - For all our bouquets and buttonholes but especially our beautiful reception (photos don't do it justice)5. Guy - Our lovely limo driver who was such a gentleman!I was waiting for more photos to be released before I wrote this post but didn't want to wait too long! I hope you finally get to have your much deserved holiday after all we've put you through! Thanks to Anni and her amazing team, we had the most amazing wedding ever. I could not imagine what would I do without her guiding hand throughout the process. Their attention to details and thoughtfulness is out of this world, and every guest of ours that we have spoken with had the most enjoyable time. As a couple who is also working a full time job, since the moment I engaged Anni with her service, I already felt an instant relief that things will turn out be okay. Unbeknownst to me, there were a lot of things that I thought I would not have cared about as a bride, I didn’t know how great a feeling would be/the height our wedding could have reached in terms of leaving a memorable experience with me and my husband and our guests…until Anni and her team did that magic and gave us the time of our lives. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

We found Anni from Colour18 in mid August hoping to have a wedding planned before year end. It was really rushed and we had no idea what to do so luckily we spent an hour sitting down with Anni to go through the bits and pieces. She suggested the Park Hyatt for a small-ish wedding of around 60-70 guests. The venue turned out to be perfect for us and everything went smoothly.For the record, Anni is quite a busy person so sometimes people (like other reviews) may find her too blunt or rude. However, I think given her tight schedule, it is understandable that she needs to keep things moving along so keep your interactions with her to the point. If you aren't clear on what you want, it's only natural for her to present you with better options, which others may consider it to be up-selling. If you're decisive and already know what you want, this shouldn't be a problem at all, really.All in all, the wedding was a bit over budget from what we planned but my fiance (now wife) was super happy with everything, and for that, there's no reason for me not to give Anni @ Colour18 a 5 star rating. We had the best day on our wedding day and this perfect will not happen without Anni and her teams help! Planning a wedding within 6 months is not easy. Thank you for Anni's tireless help and push, reminder and suggestions. She is always available when you needed her and I felt secured whenever Anni is around.Thank you once again for such a successful and memorable evening.
