Have been ordering from this place for a few years now but felt like it went downhill. Recently ordered as we heard they had new owners and the food was so tasty! The whole charcoal chickens were so juicy and tender. Just be prepared to wait as it took longer then communicated. We will be back.

Just had a very tasty lamb grill plate and Turkish coffee here. Customer service was also very good - I forgot to ask for hummus instead of tzatziki when ordering (due to dairy aversion) and did so when the food was brought out. The owner was happy to swap for me and refused extra payment. Will be coming back for sure.

I had take away from Grilled Republic tonight.Pros: chicken was tender and tasty as part of journey sampler. The bread is soft and delicious. We liked the saladCons: we didn’t get our 2nd dip and there were missing pickles. Also the packaging leaked and broke the paper bag. Poor attention to detail. The 2nd protein was a bit over cooked.Overall I would not order take away again. We live 20 minutes away and with a baby, there was no point going back to raise our concerns. $53 for a partial meal did not feel of value but there were glimpses of deliciousness.

Have been going to this place for years but the gozleme has definitely gone downhill in the last 6 months. Ordered take away tonight and it’s burnt and has barely any meat in it. Such a pity as the food used to be amazing.

The food at grilled republic is amazing and drinks are so good I travel 3 hours just for the food this is a hidden gem definitely my favourite

this incident is from while ago but I think it important for business to hear and learn and customer to know. my son and me came to order dinner and i assume it was the owner the guy with beard and hat who look like bin laden was very not patient and not kind when there was big line and we were figuring out order. he told us hurry up and talked to me like a toddler saying I was seting bad example for my son in front of him. this rude attitude did not help. really not appropriate behavior. Not sure if this behavior is normal in turkey or he was raised really bad to feel he could treat me garbage. i hope i was only one and maybe he was just having bad day but I wanted to write this review to say I was really offended by this. I am happy to delete this review if i get a honest apology. I will call later to refresh memory. Good food and professional work but being decent human is important to

Meats are tender and yummy. Food is so nice and big portion. Staffs are so friendly and helpful especially when they are busy and I am so hungry. I ordered extra pitta bread. Will surely come back.

We had a scoop of the pistachio Gelato and a couple of the baklava and have to warn everyone to not order the Gelato from there. It's old and the hardest ball of ice, sitting on a stake cone. When I ordered and saw they were unable to flatten and cream the Gelato, I knew. I've never had to throw Gelato away until this time. Very disappointing. The baklava also was stale and old. Stick to what they're good at, which is skewers and chicken.

Ordered falafel plate - falafel dry and reheated, hummus is store bought - I have same in my fridge. Overall disappointing. Would expect fresh falafel and home made hummus. Will go to an authentic place next time.
