Kate is amazing ! Help my last dog Chelsea so much with her thyroid problem .and many other things . And now with my new puppy Sassy , Kate is continuing a gem ! Kate is always my first choice to call , always helpful and full of knowledge . And very holistic safe approach . Looking after a dog's well being , how dogs should be taken care of . I can't thank her enough for teaching me how to feed my dogs well so they can leave a full healthy life .Thank you Kate , you are a champion of Vets !!

Kate is a great vet who tries to get to the root cause of problems rather than using band-aid approaches. I love the fact that Kate is trained vet who treats in natural ways. Have no hesitation in recommending Kate.

Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough

Our 14 year old terrier cross had what appeared to be a mild injury which progressed into an inability to walk very quickly. One vet picked up his spondylosis and prescribed NSAIDs as a treatment option for the rest of his life. Being an alternative medicine practitioner myself, I went on a search for a vet that applied acupuncture and homeopathy in their practice and I came across Kate Millhouse. Though it is a 2 hour drive for us, I was prepared to make this effort, and my boy is a good traveler. Kate immediately picked up an undiagnosed cruciate ligament injury and commenced a course of needling and homeopathics together with some modern medicine which in combination, proved to be very effective. It took a few trips to Canberra, but every kilometer was well worth it! The state my boy was in, it would seem to many that before Kate’s treatment, this was the ‘end of the road’ for him, but I can honestly say he is just like a pup again! I cannot recommend Kate highly enough. Always seek an alternative opinion and try the treatments. Kate is a genuinely lovely and knowledgeable person and very empathic with the animals and the humans alike! Thank you Kate.
