Perfect place for picnic, BBQ, bicycle riding, jogging, fishing or simply taking a break.The park has toilet, gas BBQ, tables, children playing equipments, adult fitness equipments, rubbish bins, bicycle path and lots of wildlife. Just watch out for snakes.

Attractive peaceful setting, with a well-kept shelter, to gather for meals. The sound of the water flowing over the weir makes a pleasant relaxing backdrop.

Dam was overflowing when I came past blocking one of the walkways I didn't go for a walk but appears to have some good walking paths. Did have a warning about snakes being around which I am not fond of hence a drop in 2 ratings points.

Great place for a quiet lunch and the kids to run around. Incredibly windy though at times so be prepared to hang on to your stuff!!

It was a lovely long walk beside the river, with some nice scenery along the way. Plenty of parking.

Nice little park with a view of the weir. This also marks the start and end point for the local Parkrun on a Saturday morning so the park is a little busier than normal. Quite a picturesque little spot.

Oooh, it’s a goody. Wear sunblock and watch out for guys with tartan hats yelling “Fore!” Nice meander that, stops! Do another lap.
