Posh Paws Dog Grooming Boutique

Stumbled upon Posh Paws while waiting for a family member who had an appointment at the hospital. I'd never seen the Coralpina harnesses before, and thought the easy step-in design would be much easier for my parents to use on our dogs than traditional harnesses. I bought two harnesses for my pups and one leash, and ordered thee second matching leash as it wasn't in stock. I was able to pay for it and Liz offered to post it to me at no extra cost (I live over an hour away).Liz was absolutely amazing through the whole experience. One of the harnesses was too small, so I ended up going back in to return it while running another errand in Melbourne, and she ordered and posted the correct size to me with the original leash order. She kept me updated throughout so I knew when the items had been delivered to the store and posted to me.Amazing customer service, I can absolutely recommend Liz and her business! Thanks again!

I called PP grooming to enquire about a groom for a hospitalized client’s service dog. Liz was so lovely and understanding on the phone and even offered to personally pick up and drop off the dog after the groom. She completely put the service dog owners mind at ease with her non judgmental approach and kept us updated throughout the day. I would highly recommend this business. Thank you Liz & staff.

Rang up and tried to book my 15 week puppy for a groom, Its a lot to ask seeing as its almost Christmas I understand this!The lady on the phone was curt and a bit rude, she explained that I would have to leave my puppy for a 9am drop off and then pick up later in the day... didn't give me a time for collection. Then rudely explained its Christmas" and what do you expect

Disgusting attitude by the owner Liz of posh paws Heidelberg. Very rude and nasty person. Ive been there a few times with my Shnauzer Toby snd my shnoodle mini and found both dogs were unsettled after there grooms however I dismissed it but I spoke to her about mini snd told her specifically that mini is quite stressed after the last visits so I’d like to pick her up earlier .. she said not a problem .. Today I encountered rudeness by the owner first hand…I went this morning to drop off my dog shnoodle mini. Liz was so rude … I just wanted to know when I could pick up my dog and she said with anger and attitude in her voice “I’m so busy I have 15 dogs today snd I don’t know “.. I said I spoke to you last week about mini having anxiety .. she did not care and waved her arms in the air .. she pulled mini in snd dragged her to the back … I watched her and knocked on the door and called out give me back my dog … my dog is not just a number and u don’t take out your stress her … They deserve respect snd care .. if all u care about is how many dogs u can book in one day then you’re not my type of groomer/carer …I refused to leave mini her there snd I will never ever go back… What a RUDE OBNOXIOUS UNCARING PERSON.. do not leave your dog there. Liz has no care factor for animals at all ….

UPDATE (14/09/2017): The owners have now disabled the ability to post reviews on their Facebook page. This appears to have followed their receipt of additional poor reviews, and photos in support of those reviews.I took my 6 month old Lagotto Romagnolo to Posh Paws last week. Lagottos have a very distinct 'rustic' look, and do not require any primping. I contacted Posh Paws ahead of time to query whether they were familiar with the grooming requirements of lagottos, and was assured that whilst they don't have many lagottos come in, they were aware of how to groom them. On this basis, I attended with my puppy and requested a bath, blow dry, nail clip, and tidying of the genital region. This was not my pup's first grooming session - she had had numerous grooms at a local vet before with no complaints (from groomer or pet), however was looking for something closer to home.The bath and blow dry were good, and my pup smelt lovely afterwards. However:1) Dropped puppy off at 12pm and was told she'd be ready at 1.30. When I returned at 1.30 she had not been started, and I was advised to return later in the day. I was very frustrated no one had contacted me to advise of the delay by phone prior to my return.2) Hind nails were clipped, only four of her front nails were clipped without any reason.3) The bridge of my pup's nose and just under her eyes had been almost completely shaved down. This was done without my request or consent. First I was told it was done because 'the poor thing couldn't see', and then when they realised I was unhappy with it, proceeded to blame pup, stating 'she wouldn't stay still', and 'lagottos are a groomer's worst nightmare' so they 'did the best they could'. Firstly, she could see. Secondly, it's never appropriate to go ahead and do your own thing with someone else's pet without their consent. Thirdly, if you dislike grooming lagottos, then don't do them. And finally, she had been waiting for a groom for 2 hours by the time she was attended to - how still is a puppy expected to be after that length of time?4) When I called later to complain, I was told I was welcome to return for a full refund, however I should find another groomer.In short, highly unprofessional and rude staff. Will not be recommending for other lagotto owners, and have advised my local vet and puppy training school of my experience.

Absolutely love Posh Paws. I bought in my 12 week old Maltese Shih Tzu for his first groom, they made me and my baby feel very welcome, as I'm new to the grooming experience they put my mind at ease from the start. He looked and smelled amazing. Would definitely recommend. Thanks x

Posh dogs did a very nice job grooming my dog, however the owner is rude and arrogant. We have decided to go elsewhere as a result of the poor customer service.

Posh Paws provides a top-class professional grooming experience for my miniature schnauzer! The grooming provided is outstanding but what really sets Posh Paws apart, is that they truly focus on caring for my dog while he is at the 'salon'. These people are true dog lovers and interact in a loving & fun way with my dog! He loves spending time at Posh Paws with the staff and the other dogs!The salon is absolutely beautiful & more like a day spa than a 'dog' business ..... complete with chandelier, a huge gilt mirror & doggie artwork! Stunning!If you love your dog, I wholeheartedly recommend that you let your beloved 'pooch' be cared for by the best groomers in the business at Posh Paws!
