Amazing venue. It’s up there with the Forum, great building, great sound and like the Pacific Ocean, really easy to navigate. Thornhill and The Butterfly Effect in one night, what a deal. Thank you Northcote Theatre.Edit 4/23: I was delighted to return again to see Sleep Token. I even saw members of Northlane and Windwaker at the event. What a great night once again in this fantastic venue. Thanks again Northcote Theatre!

Almost a year since opening as a live music venue and so far is proving to be one of the best places in town to catch a band. Recently upgraded d&b line array for those that care about quality sound. Staff that really care for the patrons. Great local acts as well as international artists are playing here all the time.

Attended a concert here last night, the bar staff could hardly understand English, had no idea how to make a simple drink like vodka and raspberry, didn't know what bourbon and dry was and in my opinion should not have been working behind a bar as had no knowledge as to what drinks were what. Very limited choices in drinks. Other then that venue was ok, stage was good and sound was great.

If you love live music then you will love the Northcote Theatre. It really is the best live music venue in Melbourne, if not the world! The set up is super cool and the bar up on the mezzanine level is unbelievable. Can’t wait to go there again soon

A friend and I went to the LP concert on April 2nd. The staff and ambience were second to none. A beautifully renovated old building just added to our experience of the fabulousness of LP!

Amazing venue! My first gig here and the sound was perfect... loved the view from the top and the venue was cute too!Will keep an eye out for other gigs here!

Very spacious and well maintained. Copious security, clean toilets, upstairs and down. Crowded the night I went but did manage to get reasonably close to stage. Bar staff receptive. Managed to find a park reasonably close but watch for restrictions!

Lovely old building just was. Music quality was fantastic. Perfect venue to see The Dead South. Only problem it was extremely hot inside nothing some large fans wouldn't fix. To help the air-conditioning.
