Wedding Dance Lessons

We are married 6 months now and still raving about our dance lessons, they were superb, from the moment we met our teacher and every lesson. We learnt, we laughed and we looked fantastic on our wedding day. We actually started lessons at another studio and weren’t happy with our progress so we booked a lesson with Wedding Dance Lessons just to see if they were any different and they certainly were. We found the teachers to be much more skilled in bringing out our best in a short time rather than trying to make us into dancers that we are not and the experience was uplifting all the way. Dancing at our wedding was something outside my comfort zone so we decided to book three lessons to learn a few basic steps. In a short timeframe Carlos choreographed a full routine to our chosen song that was impressive and also within our ability, and taught it to us - all in the space of 3 hour-long classes. Carlos was welcoming and professional and gave me confidence to dance and have fun. I noticed a big change in my attitude to dancing over the course of the classes and that was thanks to his teaching and approach. Our dance ended up being a lot of fun and our wedding guests really enjoyed it too. Thanks so much Carlos!

My husband and I had 4 dance lessons before our wedding. We thought it would be a fun way to spend time together before the wedding. It ended up turning into a really memorable part of the wedding and a great way to celebrate becoming husband and wife. Carlos and Sophia looked after us and were awesome. We were so nervous but right from the start they made us feel comfortable. We choose a non mainstream song and they created a beautiful dance for us that was within our ability while keeping it interesting to perform and watch. We really enjoyed each of our lessons as part of the wedding planning process - thanks Carlos and Sophia!

Our bridal dance lessons were the best of fun, we both had 2 left feet and didn't want to look silly for our wedding dance, so we had lessons so that we could at least look like we knew what we were doing. The teacher was amazing, fun, funny and very professional. This made it easy to learn and fun to do and our wedding dance was so cool ! Great service and good value and very personalised - thanks guys !

Teacher is great, the owner is very unaccomodating. Change teacher without notice, doesn't provide teacher schedule, very uncooperative and wouldn't reschedule or refund. The owner requires you to pay all lessons in advance (we paid for 5 lessons), once they get your money, they don't care. They don't care about your dance, they don't care about whether you get the same teacher or not, they don't care whether your wedding dance is good or not. The owner only cares about taking your money. Doesn't care about anything else.You can get a private teacher easily with the price you pay. Would not recommend it to couples who are looking for good customer service, good experience, friendly administrative team. Owner very difficult to deal with. Have to take the matter to fair trading.

We loved our lesson and loved the results on our wedding day even more, thank you so much to our fabulous teacher, we got exactly what we wanted and even more than expected. This dance company is very open and honest to deal with and no hidden conditions or extras - everything was upfront and good as their word. I was relunctant to learn how to dance, but my wife to be convinced me to try.Julie is a most professional dance instructor - patient and understandingMy advice take as many lessons as you can and don't aim for the skyRemember professional dancers learned their moves over many years, months, days and hours of practice.Don't expect to be a ballerina in 3 lessonsListen to Julie and practice, take her advice.When the big day came both my wife and I were relaxed and everyone was amazed at the simple steps we did and we wowed the audience.I do recommend that the wife to be, discusses with Julie the wedding dress being planned - this will impact your dance steps, especially going backwards with a dragging dress, you do not want a wardrobe malfunction because your high heals stepped into the back of the dress and tears or rips the rear of your wedding gown.

Thanks so much Julie. We had our doubts we would be able to pull it off (we don't dance at all) but after 9 lessons, it went off without a hitch and we were really happy with how comfortable we were with each other and it just became second nature. I was also happy we did more than just shuffle around the dance floor. We didn't experience any issues at all regarding missing lessons or rescheduling. It was all very straightforward and they discuss it all beforehand.Highly recommend Julie - thank you so much!

Julie simply helped to make our perfect wedding day even more perfect. Everyone loved the dance we got to perform for them. They couldn't believe the display we gave. All this thanks to our dance instructor. My blushing bride and I loved going each week to our lessons. It couldn't have been any more fun.I would recommend seeing Julie to anyone.

Definitely awesome! We were impressed with the teacher’s ability to keep it realistic for us, she knew how to draw out the best in us and the transition from an awkward shuffle into easy dance steps and a simple routine that suited our song, was painless and enjoyable. They have a very efficient booking office and it was so easy to organise the lessons. Our friends recommended this dance company after they had some lessons for their wedding and we are so glad they did.
