Danny's Barber Shop
This is my go to barber, they have a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately they only accept cash which is becoming a growing issue in our cashless society. I was also disappointed to see them letting social distancing rules fall by the way side, with have people inside not wearing masks and allowing in more than the maximum occupancy.

Cash only, doesn't accept card. Hair on floor build-up and he seemed rather gruff. If you're a blokey-bloke might be for you, but not a young crowd.Accepting card should be standard practice in the twenty-first century.

Its a great place to go and not only get a great cut but have a good man chat about sport and the like. I am a hair Dr and I only get my cuts done at Danny's. 5 Star.

Good quality haircut, and danny seemed like a nice bloke. I just wasnt too keen on the hair left all over the place, hygiene could use a make over, especially in times like these. And being cash only i wasnt to keen with.. very rarely i carry cash anymore.

Just moved to Gisborne.My husband went today, it's the worst cut i have ever seen.I have done better, especially for the price.Definitely won't be back.

Initially I gave a 5 star review, after 2 great cuts. Unfortunately 3rd cut was terrible. Obvious that Danny can't do a fade, unlike the previous 2 barbers I had. It was very uneven and patchy. Very disappointed, I was happy to find somewhere great in Gisborne with good prices, but I won't be back

Been coming here for a few years now. When I first started it was $20 for a cut now its $30 a massive increase well above inflation. While at the same time they now rush cutting my hair with them having me done in under 10 minutes while I see them take 30 minutes with the people before for a much simpler style. On top of that the last 2 times my hair cut has being uneven and they have not done what I asked. The bald guy also has been very indifferent to me of late borderlining on being rude. Will not be coming back.

I had the best hair cut in my life. Lovely people (also Liverpool fans) we have found our barber shop, never going anywhere else.
