They had what I needed but oh boy, what a grumpy shop assistant/owner. Sure it was at the end of the tourist season and he was probably sick of tourists but that's what puts bread on his table. Probably needs to find a line of work that doesn't involve customers.

5 stars bc they let my doggo in the store (he is a particularly well behaved dog)You can’t really tell from the pic...but the kids and hubby hired a surfboard. It was a super easy process.George (dog) loves the beach. But the waves keep chasing him. And it really annoys the ship outta him. Keep him in your thoughts.

Such a baaad store to rent board. They are pricey, in very bad shape, the owner is so arrogant and he does not know his boards.He tried to rent us a board which had an opened broken tail - fully opened tail... when we told him - he taped it with black duct tape (still full of water) and put it back for renting... we declined the rent.Very bad experience - will never go back...We did go to the one in Aireys inlet - had a nearly new board for a cheaper price.

Over priced! $120 was one of the cheapest pair of bathers. Service was ok most of employees just standing behind the counter fist bumping and talking I waited about 15 minutes before anyone helped me.

Iconic local surf shop, loved it since I was a kid. The owner’s been surfing the area forever and is very helpful if you ask. Great range and I always love supporting genuine local small businesses

The Lorne Corner Store looked like a lovely store but as I was browsing said shop, a customer who had decided not to purchase burkinstocks from there started getting shouted at by the owner. The owner was going on about how rude the customer was for deciding not to purchase said shoes from the store even though they did not have the ones he was after. As a bystander to this experience it left me stunned because previously I thought this store was quite nice, but after seeing how staff treat their customers I would not reccomend going to the Lorne Corner Store
