I have been using the Good Meal Company for some months now and have found the meals to be very tasty. There is a large menu to choose from, so you are bound to find something to your taste. The meals are complete so if you are incapacitated it is a great way to enjoy your meals when only having to heat them, then eat. The meals are reasonably priced, and sometimes there is a special whereby they are cheaper if you order 15 or more meals. Thank you for convenience it has helped me so much to stay in my own home.

I have used this facility for several months now & both my wife & I find the meals excellent, especially the sauces & thick gravy. It saves us shopping for food as we don't have a car & being delivered cooked & prepared is so convenient, no preparation time no pots & pans to clean, just pop it in the micro wave & away you go! So handy if my wife is away as I can't cook but can handle a micro wave!

It hasn't been a good start, unfortunately.First was they only sent the “shipping” notice out 10 minutes before midnight then the “delivered” notice 10 minutes after midnight.I missed both notices.I woke up at six am to see the “delivered” notice but there was nothing at my door.So I stewed for half an hour looking for some way to contact someone. There was a tracking link in the email, which I clicked that sent me to a web site that said it had been delivered but not to the location I had expressly given that was ignored. But could only find a feedback button at the bottom of the web page which I clicked that showed a popup stating “delivered to wrong address” which I submitted. Then nothing... So I stewed some more.As I was scrolling up from the bottom of the website above the feedback button I noticed 3 tiny little thumbnail images, I clicked on one and it was a photo of where my order had been delivered over six hours earlier. As we're the other two...!Well, I now knew where the box had been delivered at least. It was 400 metres down the road at the wrong address. Not the address I had given them with explicit instructions.I fumed some more... Then decided dam it I'm going down there and waje up whoever has taken delivery of MY FOOD. I don't care what time of day it is! I'll wake them up!At 06:30 It was dark, wet and 8 degrees outside. So I dressed, rugged up and took my walker 400 metres across a street and a major road in the dark, cold and wet to the front door of an apartment block. There was my box of food sitting six centimetres from the footpath. People were walking around and past it as they came and went .Anyone could have picked it up. So I put it on my Walker and went another 400 metres back across the main road and a street in the dark, cold and wet to my front door and back into the relative warmth 20 minutes later. At least I had my box of food and would not go hungry.I then immediately unpacked the box and fortunately, the food was still frozen now 7 hours later.Upon opening the box there was a printed note telling me that some items were out of stock and had been “Substituted” but didn't say what or how many. I was too cold and just wanted to put them in the freezer and get back to bed.The next day I put one in the microwave and noticed there was a puddle on the tray after removing the now-reheated food. I was hungry and thought nothing more of it.The next pack also did the same thing. Which I thought was strange. The next pack did it again. This time I looked and found a hole in the corner of the container that defrosted food was leaking out.The next one I inspected before reheating and saw it too had a hole in a corner before being reheated. I put this one in a bowel and it leaked into the bowel. It appears there is damage or production issues to the packs. I don't know if the holes were there before the food was frozen or happened after the food was frozen in shipping.I'm now concerned there are small shardes of plastic that may have contaminated the reheated food.I will be looking a lot more closer to the next package before heating it.On top of all this The Meal Company is refusing to acknowledge it has sent my food to the wrong address despite being given explicit instructions for the correct location.Telling me the drivers will only deliver to whatever GOOGLE MAPS dishes up to them nevermind that GOOGLE MAPS is WRONG!!!What hope is there for this company that can get so much wrong on its first order and is incapable or unwilling to actually communicate or listen to a potential long-term customer worth possibly tens of thousands of dollars over the next five years all because it blindly relies on an AI that is attempting to replace humans to find an actual and potentially valuable address!Deity give me strength...!

I have been using The Good Meal Company for a few months now. The majority of the meals I give to mum. She has a home care package so the meals are subsidised and I pay the difference. I also eat them as I would never give mum something that I wouldn't eat.She loves the food. I order the large meals as they regular are just a bit too small for mum. I am really impressed with the quality of the food. When removing the food from the container after heating I try to make the meal look like I've cooked it myself. I know my own home cooked meals don't always look the best.Overall I am very happy and so is mum with the meals.

I get these meals for mum. They are awesome and always look like a fresh meal. I’ve tasted a couple and they are so filling and fresh. I love the the good meal co. I hope my mum doesn’t stop me from ordering them. Keep up the great work and the delivery drivers are always on time. Great work guys for delivering our meals

The food is generally tasty. Meals with gravy not nice - gravy is tasteless/artificial. Driver doesn't read delivery notes. I dislike the huge delivery window (7am-6pm) - day is lost. I was couple hours late lodging 1 urgent order. Told nothing they can do. No flexibility exists to get an urgent order through, under any circumstances. Customer service was very much fit in or 'we are happy for you to go elsewhere' over the issue. I was gob-smacked! Customer service = 1⭐️, Food = 3⭐️

I have tried a few different meal delivery services recently and was so disappointed with the food from this organisation. I was impressed with their delivery of the meals however the quality of the meals is really disappointing. I expected more from a company with Good Meal" in the name. Tiny portion of protein in the Roast Lamb meal and the lamb was mostly fat! When I took the Roast Lamb meal out of the microwave and peeled back the lid I was very underwhelmed

Have ordered a few times now, had to call both times as had to order 3 weeks in advance only to receive a note saying that we have swapped unavailable items for other ones. Called customer service to be told they are sorry and will get a manager to call back. Neither times we received a phone call back, and then on the last delivery were short changed deserts and was also told they will look into it and call us back. Again never happened. Food is tasty but if not subsidised not worth paying for. Customer service does not exist anymore!

Not too happy with them right now. It all started off well but this past week I was short changed two meals for the second time. The first time it happened you could allow for mistakes but not two out of four deliveries so now have to spend time checking each order. My second complaint is that they also replaced two other meals not in stock which I do understand is so as for us not to go short but the problem was we ordered one meal not tried before and thought we’d check it out, well, we don’t like it but now have three other of the same meal which we find not very good because that is the one they gave us extra of. So not only are we two meals short but also were given four of the other disliked meals. If you find this confusing, you should try living through it. Right now we are finding it all a headache instead of making our lives easier. Also when you go to the bother of ringing up, ordering and paying for the meals and the meals ARE in stock they should be put aside as not available instead of leaving customers high and dry with some substitute.Something not right with their system. And a bit more variety with veggies might be nice. I do like peas and carrots but not with every meal. Please take this as constructive criticism, some of the food isn’t too bad but you do have to choose carefully. Delivery system is great as is packing of the meals and notification of when they will be delivered
