Sandy Creek Walking Track
A nice easy track that meanders through the bush near the beach and across a usually dry creek and beside the lagoon.

Great waking track. We included a walk along Tura Beach to have a look at the rock pools (spotted a Hooded Plover) so the total distance was about 7.5km. Walk through the woods to the creek first and finish up on the beach.

Sandy Creek Walking Track
A good circuit walk with enough challenges to make it worthwhile. The first part follows the river through rocky cliffs and rainforest patches, then an easy walk through casuarina and banksia woodland to the beach. A great final climb onto Bournda Island for some ideal whale watching. Six kilometers over three hours.

Sandy Creek Walking Track
Great scenic walk but beware the lake water height. The mandatory water crossing can be ankle or waist deep. Water height changes daily.

Sandy Creek Walking Track
Stunning walk but v overgrown and flooded out after months of el nina rain - creek pass is currently not passable (deep under water) and track completely disappears under overgrowth & fallen trees near the creek crossing itself (coming from the north). Agree with some other reviewers - track is poorly marked. I have had to complete in three different stages - coming in at different points - worth it tho!

Path is not well maintained and be prepared to get your feet wet. Otherwise there are some great views and spectacular beaches along this walk.

Great walking track but the rosd is a bit rough and designed for 4wheel drive but normal csrs can do it with care

Sandy Creek Walking Track
Didn't do much of the walking track but alot of kayaking, 150m to carry kayak from car to lagoon, very nice remote area. Didn't see any kingfishers or waterdragons but plenty of other wild life.
