I shopped here many times over 15 days of house-sitting in the town and never had the issues some report. The deli and meat section is vast and plentiful, plenty of stock for the average shopper etc. Parking is right out the front including disabled parking. Premises clean and staff friendly and helpful. Prices compared with Woolies and Coles in Ayr are a little more expensive on some items but many are the same price. Within walking distance to the pub, takeaways and Bendigo bank opposite.

The local IGA keeps a good range of goods, like all places you need to look for the specials. I will add the meat is generally of high quality for a supermarket.

I don't like giving a bad review of this place because I have always had great service there except for today. The woman in the deli was the rudest person I've ever encountered. The way she greeted me with her gruff what do you want?" and then the way she proceeded to throw my items at me makes me not want to shop there again. That being said Natasha at the register was very nice as usual"
