Vinnies Forster

I was saddened and angered to find out a lovely lady who has volunteered with this store has been treated in the most appalling way. Val has been a hard working volunteer for a long time and has always gone out of her way to make shopping here a fun experience. To hear she has been anything but professional is completely wrong. I'm so sad to see the Vinnies I have always had great respect for has become a money maker definitely NOT a compassionate charity. SHAME

Great people who run the shop.Very helpful and its one of the cleanest Vinnies ive been to. .No awful smell. Clothes are well presented in section's, clearly markedThey take pride in there shop,& it really shows.. These volunteers are a asset to the company..

It’s only quite little but it has a lot of stuff at very good prices. Had a lot of beautiful formal dresses too for $20. The staff are beautiful. Very friendly. There is an especially large range of children’s clothes and bedding. Ornaments from as little as 50 cents. On street parking only but it’s never to difficult to find within 100 meters.

I have just heard what happened to Val who volunteers at Vinnies. I am absolutely shocked, I have known Val for years and for her to be called un Christian is a joke. She is the most caring and genuine person I know and as for her language, well that is ridiculous, I have never once heard her use inappropriate language, Ever. I think that manager has targeted Val for some reason, she's the un Christian one. Vinnies should be ashamed treating volunteers with such disrespect, just remember they give up their time quite happily to help, and for free at that. If it were a regular business and Val was being paid there is no way you could just treat an employee like that with no supporting evidence, you would be sued for unfair dismissal. So much for being a charitable organisation...very uncharitable behaviour.

The new manger is bully in this shop a lot of old staff have left because of her. People that give there time for nothing other then the company of others and to help the comunity. While she drives around in a vinnies car getting paid. How dare she accuse people that try to help others of being un Christian when your getting paid.

This shop is not an op shop anymore unfortunately it's Vinnies Business. The Volunteers are beautiful people. They give their heart. If only Vinnies" was the same as years ago...a Charity..as it is meant to be."

Went to drop some good branded quality clothes off today at the Forster shop. Woman came rushing out as I was leaving and started scratching through the bag t while mumbling about having so much already. Well stuff you then, if you can afford to be fussy I will take my things to a charity that appreciates it. She was so rude I was quite disgusted.

Omg so disappointing for being an op shop...Everything is so expensive. I seen a nice shirt and it was $10 KMART BRAND I could get than brand new for 5 dollars at kmart.Honestly they need a new manager all the staff are leaving is terrible.

I have worked hard in the vinnis shop Forster on a Friday for over a year. As a volunteer Doing the best that I can to keep the shop clean and tidy . I love the customers that come into the shop and often chat and laugh together.For the past 3 weeks I have worked for 8am to 4.15 with out a break at all. And happy to do so whilst my colleague is ill in hospital.the salaried .company car area manage from vinnies called into the shop on Friday morning to say that .she had had complaints from the customer s that I was unchristian. And swore . She told me to leave the shop immediatelyI am broken hearted. And shocked as I do not and never have used bad language. And consider myself a Christian. Ivolunteer to give help to the community and to meet people .. this action by the area manager came with out warningI have no choice but to seek advice on this matterI would like to thank all the Friday customers that have made my work in vinnies so pleasant.I will miss seeing you

Love Vines. Lovely workers who volunteer. Nice,clean , organized, prices very reasonable and flexible. Casual atmosphere, friendly and helpful. I'd go any day , I like surprises!!.
