Regrettably, in contrast to the the time that Phillip Goldsmith (lawyer) still worked here, my experience with this practice this time around (now owned by lawyer Simon Finch, the only practicing lawyer here as far as I understand) seems to have been very unsatisfactory. We needed a - to us very simple - update to our wills (few preformatted names/lines changed). The wills were originally made at this practice. The quote came back as 2 x $200 + GST, i.e. AUD $440 total. This amount was not reduced at all in spite of numerous requests. Furthermore, and this seems to be what drew the line for us, when actual appointment arrangements had to be made, vague arrangements were made in terms of appointment duration and setup, leaving us unclear as to whether we would be able to fit the appointment in as it was proposed. I cancelled the appointment and order, and will likely not do business with them anymore. On a positive note, I believe the secretary is responsive and to some extent trying to accommodate.
