Mediocre at best. Izakaya setting and service, average food quality. Portion is small compared to the price they charged.

This is awesome tempura. I recommend being there 3 minutes before opening as they get busy and only have around 8 seats.

This place was okay. The chef was friendly and energetic, and the food was quite tasty, but I don’t feel it was value for money. For $18.50, the Chicken Katsu, was very small in portion. The lunch special set also looked quite minimal for the $24.50 price.

I witnessed racist behaviour from the owner / chef. There was a group of people from a particular cultural group when I was there, and they were taking photos of their food. The owner told them not to share the photos in their cultural community (his request wasn't about the social media etc in general, but he specially mentioned their cultural community), because it gets too much if they come".The food was also meh. It was ok

Very authentic Japanese food experience. Just a warning, don’t speak on your phone inside the restaurant while you’re eating. The lunchtime tempura set is great value for money. Recommend

Lovely small Japanese restaurant where you sit at the bar to eat and watch the chef work his magic. Be prepared to wait as there are only two staff working, but that's ok.The food had a lovely clean taste and had a nice atmosphere for the dining experience. We at the tempura set menu and the katsu chicken curry.

Had the chicken katsu don today for lunch, thought the rice was going to be dry but there was enough sauce covering every grain. The chicken was tender and cruchy around the edges where the egg wasn't covering it. It was very delicious!

All the food excellent except for rice. I bet they have been using the small old aluminum based rice cooker. The rice has been kept warm in there so they look yellow and taste funny. It has been like that for years unfortunately. Tempura and Sashimi to die for but avoid eating rice there! Ask for Udon instead.

Such a intimate and authentic Japanese dining experience. Every element of the tempura teishoku was fantastic. The tempura was beautifully cooked and the ingredients so fresh. My favourite part of the set was the delicious sashimi and pickles.
