If you ask why Pilates? For so many of us, Pilates is much more than an exercise method - it is a way of life. A fusion of the mind and body based on the reawakening of dormant muscle and brain cells, Pilates gives us the opportunity to live a life where the gap between functional motion and enlivened thought has been bridged.

Club Rhythm is my perfect morning ritual. Friendly faces, great facilities and a caring environment with workout themes that change monthly to keep you motivated and feeling great. For me, following spinal surgery, my mobility, strength and physical confidence has improved and I understand my body so much more. I can’t thank Magda and her team enough!

Club Rhythm is a truly amazing gym. It's the first gym I joined where the staff know everyone by their first name and you are cheerfully greeted every day you enter the gym. The facilities are truly amazing. The gym machines and equipment are modern, well maintained equipment and bathrooms have hairdryers and ironing boards! The perfect set-up to do a work-out on the way to work. The staff conducting the pilates reformer classes are truly amazing. They each have their own approach to classes, ensuring clients never grow board or tired with routines. Some have a preference to infuse yoga in to the classes, making these classes the perfect blend of a work-out and wind-down straight after work.I highly recommend Club Rhythm to anyone looking for a good quality, friendly gym.

Since I can't reply to the owner's response in my last review as Karina, I'll have to post another review.1. Before I purchased the package I went to the studio to check it out. I wanted to make sure it's what I was looking for. It happened the owner was inside the studio that day so we had a chat with her. I told her I was looking for STTOT pilates classes and she said she was trained by STTOT. That's the information I got. Actually the owner suggested me to get the $210 because she thinks it's a good deal- if that's what she referred to great value. I got a third person witness to the conversation. So I went home and purchased the package. I was only told Oh I taught STTOT pilates many years ago. I think STTOT pilates is beyond science. We don't do that anymore." After I EXPRESSED MY DISAPPOINTMENT DIRECTLY to the owner right after the first class. Just want to clarify I did express it.Well What can you do after you got this feedback and already purchase the package? So I went on to finish the rest of 7 lessons and tried out other instructors/classes instead of just wasting the $210

I joined the Monthly Pilates Reformer 8 classes for $210.00. I found this place thru STTOT website- but the owner told me she thinks STTOT is beyond science so you would be disappointed if you are looking for STTOT kind of reformer classes. They modified it a bit- more likely combine fitness and pilates together.Pros:1. Love love love Alice's classes! It is always fun and it is always something new every single class with different tools- long box/jumpbox etc. I think I had 4-5 classes with her and it was never repeated! You can tell she put a lot of affect to design for each class. Also you can see the result of the training very quickly! I believe she is a very experienced instructor. Learnt a lot from her.2. I also like Leo's classes. You would have a good stretch in his class besides just a good reformer workout- I like that balance. He is a very attentive instructor. I remember he makes sure we are okay with the weights (stings)/ poses before moving to the next one in open level class. And always following up how you feel after the previous class.Cons:1. I got two booked classes cancelled. One of the classes was cancelled without any texts or emails notification- reason unknown. Luckily that it happened I doubled checked the class online a day before. If not I would have travelled all the way there and found out the class had been cancelled.2. The studio didn't inform you that you NEED to purchase a reformer mat beforehand. Neither online or in person. They told me I can lend you for the first class because you didn't know." on my first class and they offered you to buy it from them for $60-70. I understood it's for the hygiene reason and asked if it is possible to wipe the reformer with alcohol/cleaning wipe after using it instead of buying a new mat. She said " That is not an option. It's a RULE to have a reformer mat." But the thing is the yoga mat on the floor next to the reformer which we would use for each class is very dirty

As a dancer my preferred form of exercise has always been body-weight training until I discovered the group reformer Pilates at Club Rhythm. Their sessions are fantastic if you want to tone, burn fat, and stretch all in one session. Challenging and fun, you'll get quick results while enjoying the friendly environment the club offers.

I have been a member of Club Rhythm since early 2009. Magda and her team take the time to know their customers, and they thoroughly enjoy seeing the improvement in the health and fitness of those people. The holistic approach to fitness - education, diet and, of course, exercise, makes us more aware of how it all comes together without pressure. From a personal perspective, I feel fantastic, flexible, and strong and no longer know what a back ache is. Here's to the next 10 years!

Outstanding facilities and equipment to go with the amazing service. Whether it's for general fitness and conditioning or for rehabilitation from injury, I would recommend Club Rhythm unhesitatingly.

“I could not recommend Club Rhythm more highly! The Pilates done on the reformer bed equipment has been the best way to strengthen my core and improve my back and my overall posture. Everybody in the club is friendly, approachable and the instructors are professional with a strong focus on technique.”
