Richmond Veterinary Hospital

I wanted to get a price to get my dog’s teeth clean and was told that I had to make an appointment with the vet to see what’s entailed. I booked the appointment took the morning off work and was told the cost would be somewhere between $500 - $800 depending on what they find. I was then charged $92.50 for the privilege.

Avoid this vet where possible. I have been a customer with this business for over 15 years and up until recently could not fault them…something seems to have changed with both the style of management and vet care. They routinely fob you off to their other practice and offer very little in the way of help and support during difficult pet times. Individually the staff seem lovely but as a business it’s flawed. Save yourself the heartache of a disappointing phone call and find another vet in the area.

Dead set have no idea what there talking about both vets Jenny and Tom failed to help my dog said there was nothing wrong they put a choke chain around her neck in 40 degree heat caused her to have heatstroke they that then caused her to. Go to emergency mind you she had a allergy reaction and was several deydrated there lack of duty of care has now cost me 6000 dollies as she now has a amonia and a unknown object in her stomach Zarra needs 24/7 constant home care from the neglence from. A simple allergy reaction to near death they are so busy they just don't evene listen to U them go complain and then your told your not welcome it's a jokeet never go there they won't be practicingev for much longer absolutely cruel vets and staff there a joke

Dr Steph has been amazing with my JASMINE. She is so thorough and caring. I cannot thank her enough for the care she has shown her.Shes is an incredible vet. Dr Tom has also been awesome . They both take time out to talk beyond the surgery hours.I feel so incredibly blessed that my Jasmine is in the very best care. Dr Steph u are awesome. Thanku again.

Couldn't be happier with the service! It was busy today but everyone was pleasant but prompt and very friendly. Our Olly is feeling much better now and Thank you for the free toys him and his brother absolutely loved it!

New to this vet service after 20 years with another (recently changed hands) ,the staff are wonderful, friendly and compassionate, ensuring that the needs of my animals were met. Especially today, my third visit, when one had to be sent over the rainbow bridge, their gentle care was much appreciated. Highly recommended

The staff are always friendly and super helpful. Asked for notes on one of our dogs and staff asked if it was for insurance. Advised her yes. She advised that they could make claim on our behalf. Thought that was brillant. Will make my life easier.The staff are also very concerning and great when dealing with both our dogs. They go the extra mile

Our family pets have been regular patients here for over 10 years.Staff are friendly, compassionate and highly knowledgeable.Shout out to Dr Tom for providing high quality care to our beloved Quinn, who has had ongoing health issues for much of his life.Tom has been nothing but kind and patient, and provided genuine care for Quinn. We wouldn't trust anyone else to see him.As a result, I now bring my own cats here, as I know they are in excellent care every visit.

Really great place!Dr Jennifer was very thorough and knowledgeable and put us at ease.Alana at reception was also really friendly and even called a few days later to check up on our dog and offer a complimentary follow up after 2 weeks if required.Great service and well priced too! Won’t be going anywhere else.
