Amazing weekend away off the grid. Warm and cosy cabin surrounded by trees and wildlife. We will definitely be back during winter for another adventure.

Most heavenly 3 nights away in the Wilderness. Helen and Igor provide everything you need and coming back to a log fire every evening after a day of exploring was magic! As was breakfast with the king parrots. We will be back!

So glad we found this little place. Felt like we were right in the bush, though we were only a short drive to Forrest. Very cute and comfortable cabin - we loved the wood fire, the birds, and the quiet. We'll be back!

We just got back from a long weekend (4 days) at Barramunga Cabins and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quiet cabins are tucked back in the beautiful bush among tall eucalypts full of parrots, robins, kookaburras and more. The cabins are just up the road from Stevensons Falls and conveniently located within an easy drive to Forrest, Lake Elizabeth, as well as Apollo Bay. So much to explore! The kitchen was nice with ample utensils, cooking supplies, coffee plunger, kettle, cutting boards, cheese grater, etc. – we cooked every meal in the cabin and had no issues at all. The high quality wood stove was great; the birdseed left on the back porch for the feeder was a favourite of our 9 yo; and the wood supply was awesome (our wood pile just outside the cabin door was refilled every afternoon before returning from our adventures!). Finally, the brochures in the cabin showing local attractions, maps, events, etc. was a real bonus! Our only very minor issue was with the lack of a really comfortable chair/couch to sit in to relax in the evenings. In short, we had a lovely time and we’ll be return visitors for sure. Thanks Barramunga Cabins!

A simple cabin on the outside but a spacious, warm and peaceful place inside. If your looking for a tree escape, this is the one.
