DoDo Solar

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with Danny and the team at DoDo solar.We initally came to them from a good review from a family friend, but did not experience good service.1) Danny and the team took over a month to lodge our application for the solar panel rebate. Upon our reminder, he appeared to have completely forgotten about our family's application and hastily lodged it over a month after we had made inital contact.2) Our house was not built by the time Google Maps had taken a satellite image; therefore, it was not possible for Danny and the team to see online if our house was suitable for solar panels. We asked several times for him or another worker to come by before the installation so we could make sure our house was suitable, but he refused and said he had to lodge the application first.3) Danny changed the price multiple times. When I first contacted him, he gave me a lower price (around $3200), but when my mother called him, he gave me a $3700 price. After being confronted, he immediately lowered the price.4) We were previously told that workers would arrive at the house around 8-9am. It was almost 10am and no one had arrived, so we called to remind the team. Danny did not know where his workers were and had to contact them separately.5)The workers arrived around 10:30-11am, and crashed their car into our flower pot worth $110, creating a big mess. They were not apologetic and did not offer to pay for the damage caused to our private property.6) Finally, the workers declared that our house's roof was not suitable for solar panel intallation.If Danny had listened to us when we asked him to come by and check, we could have saved 2 months worth of time.Overall, this was a very upsetting and unsatisfying experience. We made multiple attempts to encouage the team at DoDo to be proactive. We didn't mind doing this as we really wanted to get the panels installed ASAP, but this is not our responsibility as consumers. Danny, Anna and others at DoDo could have better listened to our concerns and communicated with more transparency and responsibility to minimise time wasted.Keep this in mind when considering this group for your installation.

I just had my solar panels installed today and it was honestly such an easy process with the help of Brendon. He’s been a great support throughout it all and I couldn’t recommend him and DoDo Solar enough!
