Dynasty Chinese Seafood Restaurant
Absolute brilliant go to for that fabulous meal when the chef at home is off duty. Fried tofu; garlic prawns, and mixed vegetables. Only issue is that it is often full so time for takeout can be delayed a little. Price to pay. Stay courteous and always remember that we have been there before.

I went tonight for the second time. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is really good.We had a wide selection from the menu, including the crocodile with coriander and chilli, the Coral trout with ginger and the quail.I definitely will be going back again

Food was nice although expensive for what it was. The lady was nice and friendly but the waiter was rude and probably needs to be kept away from the customers.

All the dishes were amazing. Sizzling garlic scallops, bugs in plum and chilli sauce, mongolian lamb. Service was quick and enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Dynasty Chinese Seafood Restaurant
There was about 10 ppl at our table, we all had the banquet (fixed dishes), it was great, couldn't complain, food was fresh, cooked well, tasted great. Service was great too. Unfortunately I got distracted and didn't take pictures. Im interested to come back to try the duck or crab next, heard it's great. But it is pricey. I'm happy to pay as long as it's good.

Very delicious food. Went to have lunch with mum. We had Dynasty fried rice, salt and pepper prawns and hot pot duck. All dishes was full of ingredients, prawns, chicken, pork and fresh vegetables. Waiter was very nice and helpful and engaged in conversations.

We came here on a Saturday night and most of the tables were full - I would recommend booking a table to avoid missing out, especially for large groups. The food here is on the expensive side, but the meals are cooked perfectly and very large so can be shared easily. Most of the tables have lazy susans so the meals can be passed around the table. We ordered 5 mains, each costing roughly $30 to $35 each (except for the fillet steak fried rice which was $24). We ordered the Thai Red Curry Duck, BBQ Pork with Plum Sauce, Lemon Chicken Supreme, Stir Fry Hokkien Noodles, and Fillet Steak Fried Rice. All of the dishes were really tasty, my favourites were the red curry duck and the bbq pork in plum sauce. The lemon chicken and stir fry noodles were also really good. All of the meats were melt-in-the-mouth tender, absolutely amazing - especially the duck, fillet steak, and pork. The drinks are a bit expensive, about $9 for a Great Northern Original stubbie. For the wine drinkers - would recommend ordering a bottle rather than by the glass as it should work out cheaper. The waiter was friendly and has a good sense of humour, and the restaurant has a dated but nice welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend trying this place.

Bridget thank you for an absolutely fabulous meal. Top of our list of restaurants to visit when we are in Townsville, we couldn’t wait to come and visit you. The BEST Chilli Mud-crab and Salt & Pepper Calamari around. I also enjoyed a sneaky Banana Fritters for dessert - a childhood favourite. Excellent selection of wines and fantastic personal service from both Bridget and Les. Thank you we will be back again soon - J & B

This is one of, if not the best Chinese restaurant in Townsville. I always go there whenever I am in Townsville. The seafood, especially the fish, prawns and scallops are always fresh. Dynasty is one of the few places I willingly order steamed fish as there is no hiding the quality and freshness of fish when steamed, instead of when it is fried. We started with seafood San Choy Bow and fried quails for entree. This was followed by coral trout steamed with ginger and shallots, a seafood hotpot (or claypot), pork ribs Chinese style, king prawns, duck with Chinese mushrooms plus the customary white rice. All the dishes were very good and tasty, though the highlight for me was the steamed fish, followed by the San Choy Bow. The king prawns were well cooked and the pork ribs went very well with the sauce it came in. There could have been a little more duck in the duck & Chinese mushrooms dish, though the mushrooms were very juicy and thick. There is a good selection of wines and cocktails, as well as a very nice selection of ports and other dessert wines. There is a free car park just a few doors down from the restaurant and there is normally parking available there. Overall a must visit in Townsville if you like Chinese seafood cuisine.
