I've been a long time patient of Dr John Hua. When I heard he was leaving his old practice to start his own gig, I had to follow him, even if it meant I had to travel an extra hour! His knowledge, transparency, and the way he explains treatment options and/or all things dental - makes me feel better informed and well cared for. The dental practice is incredibly clean and modern. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

My thanks and appreciation go to Dr Jim for overcoming my fear of going to the dentist and doing an amazing job of giving me a thorough check, extracting wisdom teeth and installing a crown in the most calm, professional, friendly and totally pain free manner. Thanks also go to Sanna and the dental assistant team for their kind and professional support.P.S. and remembering that I mentioned seeing the Harry Potter show in Melbourne and having a Harry Potter movie ready to run overhead as my crown treatment commenced was a level of personal consideration I've never experienced before.

I would not call myself a regular attendee of consistent dental check ups however Dr Jim Nguyen and Lien Nguyen has made the experience a highly calming and enjoyable one. Their friendly yet professional approach is highly commendable and i would not hestitate to recommend them to others.

On the hunt for a good local dentist, I booked an appointment online with Dr John Hua based on excellent google reviews and was not disappointed. Dr John was friendly, gentle and informative. His staff were also lovely. He gave a thorough clean with his new special water gun thing (I’m sure there’s a proper name…) that was incredibly gentle on my sensitive teeth. To top it off, they do gap free clean & check-ups if you have private health! Very happy customer.Very pleased I found True Smiles Dental and Dr John. Will definitely be back.

I had a clean and teeth whitening done at True Smiles Dental in Marrickville. Lien was very gentle with my teeth and I am very happy with the results! The clinic is very clean, modern and the team uses the latest technology (I was even able to watch Netflix during my treatment). Highly recommended if you are looking for a Dentist in Marrickville. My first visit was to have one side of my wisdom teeth taken out and the experience was very good. The place is very clean with a brand new feel which presents itself to have exceptional care towards hygiene. Staff were very pleasant to talk to and took the time to explain everything in a friendly and professional manner. This gave me the confidence to go back again to extract last my wisdom teeth and also again for teeth cleaning. I would trust this place and recommend it for anyone, so check it out if you need dental work or simply want to upkeep your oral care.

Had such a positive experience with Dalvin, John and the whole team. Everyone was friendly, thorough and communicated well throughout the appointment. Dalvin was very gentle in cleaning my teeth and made sure to check if I needed any breaks. Would recommend!

It's never fun going to the dentist but the whole team at True Smiles makes a visit as comfortable as can be. I recently had a tooth removed by John and had also been for a clean with Lien. The dental team including the assisting crew are amazing end to end - professional, knowledgeable and approachable. The practice is also super clean and modern
