Quest Prahran

Had an excellent stay in a 2 bedroom apartment at late notice on a weekend. The most friendly staff I have ever encountered at a hotel with every single person saying hello as you walk by. Spacious rooms and carpark, fantastic location being so close to chapel street and commercial road, cannot wait to stay here again in the near future when returning to Melbourne. Thanks for a great stay.

We were deeply disappointed with the treatment we received from the management at Quest Prahran. We were unable to make our booking due to the Central Victorian floods and the staff were informed as soon as possible that some of us had to stay and protect our at-risk properties and the rest of us could not travel due to flooded/damaged roads and no public transport available. Under Australian Consumer Law we are entitled to a refund, including for non refundable bookings. We would have been happy with the opportunity to rebook for another time however the management at this hotel have not been sympathetic or offered us any solutions, therefore we will never consider staying here in future.

We choose this hotel due to its location for a night out (on Commercial Rd). We booked parking so had a secure carpark which was great. The reception staff on both days were fantastic - lovely to speak with and very helpful.Our apartment had lots of steps and a shower over bath which was ok, but could be hard for some people. The size was great and would be perfect for a longer stay (full kitchen etc.). It was really clean which was great. But its age was showing with repairs needed (loose handles, silicone of the shower screen coming out, damaged base of shower etc.).Overall, a great place to stay and well priced.

From the moment we had made a booking to the moment we left the staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect with public transport at your fingertips. We parked the car and could walk or use public transport for everywhere we needed to go. We found the rooms clean and well serviced. Highly recommend Quest Prahran!!

Great location near both trains and trams. Apartment was a good size but lots of stairs which could be an issue for some people. The apartment was clean and serviced daily which was a bonus. Not sure if it was just the apartment that we were staying in but the facilities were in disrepair and need some attention. The towel rail in our bathroom was coming out of the wall. The faucet in the kitchen felt like it was going to fall off at any time. Our kitchen bench had pieces missing out of it and the floor tiles had quite a few chips. All minor things and I understand that you have to expect wear and tear but for the rating and price I did expect a bit better.

My name is Devorah Rosen, and l am an internationally recognized Australian Visual Artist. l find Quest Serviced Apartment Hotel Prahran to be generally a beautiful hotel.The grounds and room are well kept and spacious the amenities are good.I would stay here again.Regarding the staff on site, when the cleaning staff entered my apartment there were three of them and they were noisy, far too many at once for one fairly small space.The staff member called Annie, a young attendant who works at reception, l find her tone and manner to be unfriendly, cold, even vaguely menacing and certainly unprofessional.As l mentioned, l would stay here again as the hotel itself is commendable.Okay, the Manager of Quest Hotel Prahran Mathew, just banged loudly on my door and told me either l take down the review or l am being forced to leave the hotel.

Great location and bonus for parking that isn't restricted by height. Driving an excessively tall 4WD with stuff on the roof often makes for hard parking inner city. Rooms are a great size and have everything you need for a quality short stay in town.

We were greeted with an extremely warm and welcome reception and loved everything about our stay.Staff were so approachable and helpful. They were incredibly inclusive and went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay.We will absolutely be staying with Quest Prahran again.Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Great staff, and location. Large rooms with lacking furnishings and finish.My wife, 3 month old son and I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were incredibly helpful, very friendly and they sorted out a cot and ground floor room no fuss, they even organised a replacement heater. The staff were so exceptional as to be out of place, it was like they'd been kidnapped from the Ritz.On site parking is handy.The location is great. Being just off Commercial Road, and a very short walk to Prahran Markets. It's also a nice and easy walk to Chapel Street and an easy drive to access CityLink.The problem is the rooms. They are very large but under capitalised. Our room lacked natural light with only frosted glass windows on one side, facing on to the car park. It was also oddly drafty by the windows. The bathroom and kitchen were tired with poor quality taps and finishing. For a room this large the furniture was lacking in quality and quantity. The only table was a small circular dining table and there was no desk to work from. Seating is lacking also. Not a great choice if you're planning on spending a lot of time in your room.

We stayed for an extended period while renovating, with our young daughter and dog. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and it was great value. It was a far better option than rolling the dice on an AirBNB.
