I recently went on the twlight tour it was very informative, sealed my decision in wanting to send my son to Portside Christian College. School was alot bigger than I realised and the upgrades over the next few years are going to make the site even better to navigate. All staff and students were lovely, welcoming & helpful in answering all my questions.

The very rapid growth from around 200 to 600 plus students is adversely affecting the college. The overall appeal has dropped from its recent years but I think it will recover in coming years if numbers remain steady or decrease. If student numbers increase the student population will suffer with the finite area that is available. Future developments should also be considered. Traffic and accessibility is a major concern especially at peak times. Lack of a split campus will severely affect students need for a change of venue in future years. Although promoting Christian schooling be prepared for secular mindsets. Could be better management. HT Electrical Interconnection was meant to be moved away from classrooms, it now wraps around boundary of school, hopefully this is temporary...Good to see the access road finally done (2 lanes?)... now queuing needs to be managed a lot better... about 15 years to do it!!! Exit should be on side road and front access closed.

A fantastic College with staff that care and support students throughout their journey from beginning to end. I myself attended the college and have sent my 4 daughters to undertake their studies. The college comes highly recommended!

My son attended from age 3 at ELC - year 5. Used to be a good school, but number of students kept growing within the limited space. Parking & traffic is a real problem. Better facilities & more space at nearby public schools. There is little students are allowed to do at recess & lunch due to overcrowding (even the oval is a public park). If you have a child that loves to sit & read during recess & lunch, this school is perfect (no chance of a ball hitting you!) If you have a child that needs to run & kick a ball, pick another school!

Primary school is good and very homy, even though very limited grounds. Middle school (especially) and beyond, in contrast, is very poor, only a few professionals at the college, most of the other teachers have no idea how to handle any situations outside the box. College is not the same any more as it used to be, unfortunately. Wish I could rate 0/10.

I have been a teacher at Portside since 2013.I have always felt a strong presence of the Lord in this place. My fellow colleges are dedicated to developing the whole child. The principal has changed of the years, but the leadership has always remained dedicated to supporting students and staff. The motto of 'equipping students for life' is a cornerstone of the education provided here which includes a foundation centered around Christ. The school is in the process of upgrading its site and the future looks bright.I strongly recommend Portside Christian College and encourage all to come and see for yourself. God Bless!

My son has just graduated Year 12 last night with Portside, as a family we loved the school, Considering it teaches from ELC through to Year 12 it still has a low number of students at the school, the teachers were great, you could contact them anytime as a student or parent, he had a very good homework load, something he didn't have at his previous school. The teachers actually mad themselves available to the students virtually 24/7 to make sure they received all the help they needed. I couldn't fault this school and already have friends that have enrolled their child to start with ELC and will then go through all their schooling years here. This is a school worth looking at for your child's education and still a reasonable price for Private Schooling. I personally believe having rules/guidelines and taking pride in oneself appearance all helps in the long run.

These people don't even deserve 1 star honestly. They taught me almost nothing and underpaid the best teachers. It's no wonder students and teachers are leaving left and right, most of the rules the teachers don't even understand themselves. 100% would not recommend.

Lovely facilities and lovely staff. The school is so well laid out and I love the Trade Training Centre offering pathways other than university. Such an excellent school.
