I had a blocked pipe in one of my rental properties on the public holiday. Called up Shaw plumbing, they came out in a flash and attended to the matter immediately. Punctual, professional and well set up and priced. A respectful team that I will use again.

I bought a 2 year old townhouse that had all the plumbing and drainage installed by Shaw Plumbing. I discovered an underground gas leak. The first employee to come out and assess couldn’t find the leak. I told him I could smell it in a certain garden bed. He dug it up and couldn’t find it. Numerous workers then spent from Monday to Friday digging up all my garden beds and ripping up the concrete driveway, which when repaired was done very poorly. The gas leak was eventually discovered in the very garden bed where I said it was. They just hadn’t dig deep enough initially.Next issue- storm water pipes.My front yard had no drains installed (design flaw, not Shaw Plumbing issue) resulting in significant flooding every time it rained. I hired a plumber to fix the issue. The first thing he noticed according to the plans that had been privately certified were that I had a missing down pipe. I emailed Shaw Plumbing asking where pipe was and was ignored.When my plumber started digging to install the new pipes he found a number of pipes installed that were not on the certified plans. In addition the pipes were installed incorrectly. I emailed Shaw Plumbing asking what they were. I was told they were charged pipes for my water tank and they are not to be touched. They in fact were NOT charged pipes and were NOT connected to my water tank. They were storm water pipes. I asked for a copy of the plans for my drainage and was ignored.My experience with Shaw Plumbing is not a positive one. I have photos, videos and emails to back up my claims.
