Being a regular customer, we were again not disappointed!Great selection of food even for vegetarian options.Service is always excellent and and nothing is too much trouble.Staff are always friendly and exceed expectations.Highly recommended especially for rural NSW.

What a wonderful regional restaurant. This Indian palace was fantastic, the decor is next level, the food was tasty and delicious and the staff welcoming and obliging. A real find in Dubbo. We will be back and bringing our crew here when we visit Dubbo next. Excellent all round. Thanks for looking after us.

Wow what a place. Packed to the rafters on a Tuesday night and deservedly so. Outstanding service too. I love it when you don't have to wait long to be served or to get another drink even when so busy. Had nice spicey signature chicken (i forget the name of for entree), naan, papadams, fabulous saffron rice and butter chicken. Great big range of beers. Well done all staff keep up the great work I'll be back when next in town and I'll be sure to book.

Came to Dubbo from the Coast for a night and decided to dine at Royal India Restobar. What a fantastic decision this was, as my partner and I were served the best Indian food we have ever eaten! Everything we ordered was next level - The Gold Entree Platter, Butter Chicken, and Cheese and Garlic Naan. To top it off, the service was also wonderful. We were seen to by a waiter who’s name I didn’t get (but he has a dog named Simba!) who was super personable, friendly and kind. 10/10, will be returning and recommending to friends and family who travel this way.

This place is a great place ! Atmosphere is absolutely fantastic and decor is classically Indian. The staffs are really friendly. Their main priority is to make customers happy. Foods were absolutely tastes pure Indian, some Indian classics and some with twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I had Indian foods in Sydney and as well as in Melbourne during my stay but Royal India Restobar can beat any restaurant in Australia. It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming. Variety of wines, food and service. Love this place and will continue to visit. Highly recommended.

We were in Dubbo for a couple of days and had heard about this place. We reserved a table a week in advance and the team at the restaurant responded and confirmed within few hours!When we arrived there we were offered a choice of table which was nice given place was pretty packed. I understand it’s almost impossible to get a seat on walk in and reservation is highly recommended.They did have the option of a banquet. We ordered a la carte. You only get what’s on the menu and no deviations ! Service was quick. Each of the food items we ordered were tasty and of decent portions.The interior was the highlight of the restaurant, very royal looking.Overall a great experience not to be missed!

The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently excellent. One of the only places in Dubbo that can provide a high standard for all three. It seems that all the bad reviews are from people from South Asia, so while they probably know best for this cuisine, as an Aussie who loves food this is definitely the best Indian restaurant I've been to in Aus. The menu is so long, there is something for everyone, and the drinks menu is extensive and has options for all budgets. They generally handle large group bookings really well, and I am yet to experience poor service on a busy night. Decor is so over the top, but it works! Love this place.

Great vegan options. Service was outstanding and very helpful and friendly. Glamorous interior with fabulous chandeliers. Even our Uber driver said it’s the best Indian restaurant in Dubbo.

Dined for dinner. I had the goat curry & hubby had chicken tikka masala curry & we also had rice & naan. The food was tasty, I especially enjoyed my goat as done the traditional way on the bone. I also had ras malai for dessert & enjoyed that also. Service friendly. We dined on a Tuesday night & it was very busy so book ahead. Would return to this restaurant if I'm ever visiting Dubbo area again.
