Top spot and worth a visit. Food at boiler house was exceptional and the team are super friendly throughout Q.

Well, lets just set the scene. $400 for one night in a 'Heritage accommodation'. The location would suggest that you would have a nice private room, in a bespoke historic location which has every need attended to, and for $400 you would expect that. But......nope. This has to be one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever encountered. Why? OK, let's list them all. Firstly, when you arrive you have to park your car in a public carpark OUTSIDE the location. That's annoying, but then even more annoying when there is a wedding function on and all the spots are taken. So, they then send you to the staff car park, guess what? Yes, all those spots are taken to so you end up parking on a grass verge within the Q Station area. That's ok, there is a full 24 hour shuttle service to make sure you get about the whole site easily. Oh, hold on, I'm afraid that when a wedding is on their priority is to ensure all wedding guests get in and out of the site. Hotel guests? Sorry guys, you'll just have to wait. So you have NO control over your site movements. Big tip, ask if a wedding is on, if the answer is YES, then say NO I'm not staying! What next, the room. A bit isolated for our age group to rely on a shuttle bus was not ideal . I wish I went there 10yrs ago would have walked everywhere. The breakfast was great the views amazing and the staff were all lovely. Bed comfortable and pillows amazing. Lounge was too too hard for our liking couldn't sit there.

Love this place.Rooms are heritage listed....so old school.Service is spot on.Location is amazing.And the history of the place.A must visit.

Ok is being fairly generous. The rooms are dated with no air conditioning. As I write this it's midnight and I'm standing outside waiting for reception to drop off a pedestal fan which seems to be perpetually 5 or 10 minutes" (30 mins later) as it's too hot to sleep in the rooms. The shuttle bus was delayed by the same time for no reason and the inaccessibility is restrictive. Definitely don't book this if you're looking for a quality hotel experience."

Not worth the room rate (around 300) , room had no air con , wifi doesnt work , the balcony is noisy when other people walk around , the walls are lined with timber so no sound proofing , the buffet breakfast was under staffed and has limited options, the shuttle is un reliable - no pick up from room, you need to find a general pick up spot , the night manager is grumpy , the rooms are very basic ... id say slightly better than a 3.5 star motel .if you want a victorian/federation quarantine barrack accomodation experiance you should stay for a couple of weeks .
