This is a scam! Does not allow sellers or buyers to review if the agent does not sell the property. Therefore any incompetence or unprofessionalism will not show and allow only positive reviews. When I contacted them about it, they were in complete denial like a dirty politician.

They just want your email to fill it with spam. Ignorant business model.

Pretty disgusted actually. You read their lists of what is available for rent only to find out most of them are already leased and have been for some time. With the situation for housing at present the way it is it's devastating for those desperate for housing. Believe me I am one of those so I know. Get your act together and take down ALL the ones already rented not just some or don't run for homes for rent. Sick of agents telling me the rentals have been leased months ago.

Only allows you to write a review if you have purchased or sold a property with the agent, so in most cases they will be positive.Doesn't allow you to write reviews about your experience with an agent who you may have enquired with or tried to purchase from.

Does not keep up to date data. Agents change their corporation license, licensee and company name yet keep others old awards still advertised. Look at Global Property International Now Global Warners Bay. The licensee surrendered his real estate license and corporation license to the department of fair trading last year. Now a new licensee. New Director. New Corporation license. New company name. Yet they still boast they’re the winners of the last two years. Also the agents pick who give them the ratings. Totally misleading.

Not a true reflection of agents on their performance. All of them have a high positive rating due to the fact vendors & purchasers can only leave positive feedback. Also, other clients or potential clients, are not given the opportunity to rate agents & leave their feedback regarding their experiences. This site is useless due to the fact it does not provide wholistic but a bias approach in reviewing agents under the pretence of their own interpretation of verified transactions" meaning they block negative reviews.IN RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT -"We highly encourage all agents to send out review requests to all of their clients – including scenarios where the transaction was negative."Thanks for confirming my review that agents select their own clients under the criteria that they are either the "winning" buyer or the vendor in transactions which are able to leave a review. Review requests that do not include the potential vendor which reject their services or failed to achieve a sale for nor the dealings with potential or losing buyers is a bias approach.Apart from encouraging all agents to send out review request to ALL their clients in a transaction

Not objective review of agents - only good news stories. But more importantly in order to become a verified agent, seller or buyer to leave a review, RateMYAgents requests copies of the transaction. (or in other words they ask for copies of contracts) the agents should be getting written consent from all parties (buyers and sellers) before being allowed to publish anything about the property.A clear violation of privacy. How long they keer this information or secure this information is not clear. But they are harvesting data.message from ratemyagentHi there
