I got this kit as a gift from me uncle and at the time I reckon I probably said something along the lines of “I’ll never need this I’m always really careful in the bush to not annoy any snakes”. Bloody long and behold I’m waddling along a track near bloody warrumbungle NP and I skim an eastern brown snakes tail with my boots (cheeky buggers tail was UNDER leaf litter, just on the edge of the walk track) and I get a single bite to the upper thigh before it rushes away. Luckily I had this kit and a gps or good chance I wouldn’t be here today. Make sure you get familiar with your kit before you use it so you know what to do when this really matters. This smart kit saved my life, so I’m buying it again. What’s $60 when your life’s priceless. Cheers Kurtis
