There's not too much to say other than the meal overall was very much bland. Hard to say if it's the lack of flavor of the fish (tried both hoke and shark) and potato itself, the batter, the small amount of salt added, or an unfortunate combination of all. The location was a little tricky to find, but updating the google maps marker should be an easy fix to help with this. I think a start to resolving the flavor side of things could start with adding more salt overall and perhaps more flavoring to the batter to attempt to at least partially balance the fish?Side note, but not necessarily a bad thing, the chips seemed very short cut. I suppose that would help them to cook more thoroughly as well as measuring proportions for orders. Was just a little odd/surprising is all.Positive side is it was still very much well prepared; not soggy, dry, overcooked or undercooked. The batter to fish ratio was also great too, so by all means the preparation itself was absolutely perfect.

We have watched with great disappointment the decline in the quality of their products. Particularly over the past few months. Change of staff or ownership is perhaps to blame? The amazing chips" are barely cooked and despite repeated requests to cook them longer this never happens. Sometimes the batter on our fish is still wet underneath as it hasn't been cooked long enough. Possible health concerns here. The potato scallops are usually overcooked and so hard you can't eat them. Our dogs love them

I went to pick up my order I Carry a heat bag cause I don't like cold food when I get home. I went to put on counter to load my food . She said don't put on counter. So I had to load my food in midair into my bag cause I don't want my bag touching the ground that Carry's my food... She was so rude expect me to load my food on the ground discussing... Always a good feed here, old school tasting flake, thun potato cakes, dim sims are dam tasty too. The staff are very polite and nice to deal with and even though this shop is hidden away its worth walling around to find it.Last time I ate here my fish was a bit too moist, maybe still slightly frozen or cold when thorwn in the deep frier, it made the inside of the batter to moist to hold together, but I can't falut them just once.

Randomly tried this shop, and will definitely come back. Didn't even know there is a fish and chips in the area, tried their amazing chips, was very crispy and tasty. Shark was fantastic as well! Highly recommended this place! But the owner should put signages there, so that people can easily find it.

First time at this fish and chip shop...it won't be the last! We had the seafood basket and an extra piece of fish...very happy with it. Shop was clean and staff friendly. Lots of customers so it must be good.
