Explore & Develop Brookvale - Childcare Centre

What can I say about this amazing daycare centre! I honestly can’t fault it. The environment the wonderful director has made for not only the children, their families but also the carers who work there, is the exact environment I want my child to be around. The passion Charlene has for her centre is endless. My daughter has attended Explore and Develop in Brookvale for over 2 years. She absolutely loves it! What I love is no matter which room your child is in (nursery or preschool) all the carers know your child’s name which makes for a loving and family like environment. The carers are brilliant and really take the time to know your child and their personalities which is evident in their reports.Creative and fun learning where nothing is too much of an effort and love oozes everywhere.My son is due to start when he turns 1, but he is already part of the Explore and Develop family.

We have been very fortunate to have the wonderful staff at Explore & Develop taking care of both our girls. Charlene's centre offers a clean, spacious, bright and nurturing environment for children and her staff are truly wonderful at what they do! Charlene takes pride in what she does for the centre, the children and the families that attend. I have recommended Explore and Develop to several of my friends. It really is a wonderful child-care centre, and I would not put my children in any other environment!Thank you for all your hard work.

A wonderful Centre with caring and nurturing staff. Very little staff turnover which was a huge positive. It’s one of the smaller centers on the beaches which means your child gets the attention they need - you definitely don’t feel like a number (like other Centres we tried previous to E&D). I always dropped my children off knowing they were going to be loved and cared for, as they would at home.

My little boy loves going to his daycare, and I feel comforted knowing that the staff at the centre are caring and well educate. Also the long term teachers and staff is great testement to the onsite owner and director, Charlene. I know that my little boy is in good hands when he can't be in mine.

This has been a home from home for my two boys the last few years, the educators are outstanding and so loving. I feel completely confident they are getting the best care and attention. Most of the educators have been working there for many years and the room sizes are small so the children get to know their peers very well and build strong relationships within the centre - and the parents to do.This centre is a really beautiful nurturing environment for children and they have been so supportive of the social, emotional and physical development of my sons. I highly recommend this amazing centre.

Our daughter is now 3.5 years old and has been attending E&D Brookvale since she was 9 months old.We absolutely love it here and so does our Daughter. To say the staff go above and beyond is an understatement. They have helped us through every step of this parenting thing, working with us to make sure our daughter always feel happy and comfortable and safe that she can go to anyone there with any issues she may have.I would and will recommend this center to any friends who have babies and for the cost and what you get, i know is better value for money then at other centers around our area.If you are looking for a place to go, dont look past this center.

My daughter has attended Explore and Develop Brookvale since she was 10 months. Charlene, the director, has created such a warm, welcoming centre and her loyal staff reflect the family-like environment she has created. My daughter loves going to ‘school’ and never wants to leave at the end of the day. I thoroughly recommend this centre!

Charlene and the team at Explore & Develop Brookvale are amazing. Your child is in good hands at this centre. The baby room carers are wonderful as are the other rooms. You are welcomed everyday when you arrive and I felt like every carer knew all the children well. I tried another centre for convenience but we quickly returned as the quality of care was much better at E&D. When it was time for us to start school I cried as I felt like we were leaving part of our family. My son is now 9 and we still reminisce about our days with Miss Charlene. I highly recommend E&D Brookvale

We have been a part of the Explore and Develop, Brookvale family for almost 2 and a half years now. My husband and I have only the highest praise for the team of educators and the environment they have created there.Before choosing this kindy, we toured many different daycares in the area. As soon as I stepped inside this one, I knew instantly that this was the place for our kids. The spaces have a lovely feel, the educators are engaged and joyful and their philosophy on learning through play is really appealing.The team of educators have this lovely mix of professionalism, warmth, caring and an innovative streak whereby they are always coming up with new ways to engage and extend the kids. Their communication with us (whether it be phone calls, emails, kinderloop posts, chats at pick up or detailed assessments) about how our kids are progressing has been second to none. The kids truly are in the best of hands.As parents, we couldn’t be happier. As for our kids, they love it too!

Charlene and her team at Explore & Develop Brookvale have been so wonderful with my son, who now runs into daycare straight into the arms of his educators and not even looking back. But it wasn't always like this... My son had a really tough first 12 months (in another centre) but we decided to move to E&D Brookvale, for the smaller more family feel vibe that Charlene and her team bring, and we saw my son's perception on childcare change drastically. He's happy, he has a group of friends who we see outside of kindy days, he is constantly coming home with new learnings from his day, his speech has come leaps and bounds and i couldn't thank Charlene and her beautiful team for all the love, cuddles and care they provide for all families that enter those doors. We love you all.
