The Pickled Fairy

Overall the place was fun for my kids, however adding glitter in their long hair has to be one of the most stupid things I have seen.Hours in the shower trying to wash it out with each kid screaming negated any fun they had in store.Not exactly sure why this was thought to be a good thing, but I'd recommend stopping it.

For every kid a must visit, or 2 or 3. Just love this shop and the fairies are so beautiful.

A regular spot for my daughter and I to visit. She loves the mystical feel of the place and the staff are always amazing with my daughter. Great shop

Saw a sign on market St that said fairies this way, and had to follow. It was one of the coolest shops I've been in. The lady there was super nice, and the store is just magic. Didn't buy anything today, but I'll be back next time I'm in Freo.

Tiny store full of magical surprises. A must visit if you have young children.

Today was our 3rd or so visit to the pickled fairy but the 1st for my toddler who absolutely loved it! We ended up spending nearly an hour there just browsing and having fun exploring the cute fairy outfits and accessories. From temporary tattoos, magic wands, fairy, unicorn, dragon and magic bits and bobs, it makes a great hang for kids and adults alike. Great themed shop.

I’ve been humming and harring about writing this. As I’ve always loved this shop.Recently my daughter had her 5th birthday here.Before booking I asked what was indicated in the party, I was told that the kids would get food, drink, a cake and a party favour.On the day, we arrived and was told to wait out side for 10 min, ( fair enough small shop ) the fairy arrived and sprinkled glitter into each kids hands, bar one who actually really wanted some, I’m assuming because it was a boy he missed out, I tried to ask the fairy to give him some but they were all ready inside.The room was beautiful, the kids sat down and I realised there was a plate missing for a later comer ( that we actually had to pay extra for despite having 10 inventions to give to her friends) 10 kids plus birthday girl.It was really quiet and awkward when the children were eating as there was no music.The fairy read a book while they were eating food from Aldi… and played 1 game and danced to 2 songs. The “ birthday cake” was lamingtons and the party favour was 1 sheet of stickers…Not to mention that the fairy kept calling my daughter the wrong name.I’m actually really disappointed $263 for an hour. I honestly would have taking my money else where if I knew all this would happen.

Such a beautiful experience with amazing caring staff. We left our precious lovey behind and the owner ran out to make sure we didn't leave it behind. Caring staff!

What a magical place! Staff were in full costume and makeup, and really wonderful with the children. Highly recommended if you have little ones.
