Beautiful view of the forest from the fire tower. But of a rough drive on the way out. Very good picking area with BBQ and tables.

The caves are not accessible. The lookout is nice and the campground is ok. The road can be tricky without a 4WD

Another well kept and tidy spot in the Pilliga. Great 360deg views from the tower.Good picnic facilities with toilets, sheltered tables, gas BBQs and water tanks.Also a few free campsites.

Road is open, bit sandy at creek crossings but ok for 2wd. Salt caves are more historical than scenic. Viewing tower is awesome if a bit scary and windy. Worth a diversion

Not an easy drive in and maybe not worthwhile for just a visit but if you were camping that’s a different story. Nice camp area and very peaceful.

Quite a drive. 4WD recommended. Lookout is a tall tower. It was windy the day we were there so we didn't go to the top

Great amenities and a great stop over . Kids love the climb up the tower . The caves are a beautiful temperature
