Bonds Road Mechanical Repairs

Never go to this store.I have done car service at this shop 4 times.Until it rained one day and suddenly found my rear wiper not working. I tried to open the cover to see what was inside. When I opened the cover, I found that one side of the connection on both sides that needed to be screwed was disconnected, and the other side was still connected, but it was about to be disconnected. After opening the cover, I found that the connector of the wire connecting the motor was disconnected, it could not be disconnected due to vibration, 100% caused by human.

Overpriced for a quick engine scan for $100. It took the mechanic max 5 minutes. He claimed I had to change the coil in the engine and it would cost $450 for the check alone, then when I take the car to another shop, it took the mechanic less than a minute to pin point the problem with no charge.I think this shop would be okay for the annual service check but definitely not when you have something outside of basic task.

I Truly regret and now understand that I had just been ripped off $120 for an Auto Re-gasing service that was completely botched and decieving.I was fed false claims and information that should've never been told nor provided.Quoted $120 without seeing my SUV car and told NO BOOKING REQUIRED. Come in any time, he'll do it on the spot for me.The service would only take him about 10-15 mins.I took car in the next day and noticed that besides myself was only one other Asian in appearance​ customer.The Mechanic person here is a sole trading and obviously unaware of my arrival and seemed very emmersed in conversation in his work office on his phone.It was his own customer (also awaiting for a re-gas service on his SUV vehicle) that kindly informed me that the Mechanic person here was very busy today.After 10 or so minutes, he emerged, approaching me to let me know that he'll be Re-gasing the first waiting clients SUV first then mine, and said approximately 15mins.Over an hour went by before the Mechanic man made his way over towards me and started to speak a whole heap of Mechanical Car Re-gasing Procedures and Policies 'jargon' incoherence talk with me.To the point of utter non understanding and TOTAL CONFUSION over what has now been an hour and half Too Long.Something I was told to believe and sounding reasonable, quick and convenient.An hour and half later turns Into a non english abrasive speaking Mechanic person, pointing his finger at​ what appears to be a '0' reading Gas Guage appearing to be attached to my car??And because of this supposed '0' Guage reading.It quickly and suddenly became 'My' responsibility IF for ANY reason my car air conditioning system has a leak or any other Air conditioner problem​.??And would have to have it looked at and fixed properly myself??Huh?? Isn't this where I was and was getting as part of the $120 cash NO RECIEPT SERVICE???Apparently not.The Mechanic here said he can still put in the gas for me but if after a week any problems I would have to pay to get ir fixed properly.** IT WASN'T EVEN A DAY** 4hrs later I jumped into my car and had NOTHING BUT HOT AIR BLOWING BACK AT ME Grrrrr.I felt more upset with myself for not trusting my gut instinct and deciding to instead NOT ALLOW the Mechanics manipulating rude and abrasive non English speaking confusions.Gain the upper hand on me, handing over cash to a false ungrateful CON ARTIST & DECEPTIVE RE-GAS SERVICE expert..THE EXPERIENCE WASN'T COOL AT ALL...!!

We had our car serviced here. The mechanic forgot to fill up the oil which caused damage to our engine. Would not fix and was very rude. Avoid.

Came in for a pink slip and was served by John.very professional and honest mechanic.didn't try to add additional charges on top of the pink slip like other mechanics when providing a pink slip where they will try to replace things on the car that does not need to be replaced.only took 5 minutes for John to check the car and also write up the pink slip.quick service and honest mechanic.would recommend

absolutely disgusting people, they do not do the work properly than when you consult them they said they didn't say that. i paid $150 to have air conditioning in my car for 3 days when i confronted them they than said it is the compressor that is broken and will top up the air for free when the new compressor is in. i now have the new compressor in and they said they wont do it. and want top charge another $150. does it really sound fair to pay $150 to have air conditioning in my car for 3 days???

John did a great job and was very patient with my car to ensure every detail was taken care of. Would recommend him to anyone. Best mechanic I’ve used.

They always fix my car for a good price. Excellent service.

Not sure of the circumstances yet, but, I have a situation at present that may prove them not to be honourable or trustworthy. I intend to investigate the matter via approaching & corresponding with the business proprietor/s to see if they have intentionally deceived me in relation to work that was required to be done by law.I had a strange feeling about the car after it had been in the care of Bonds Rd Mechanical repairs, so I immediately took the car to another local reputable & truly professional mechanic for an inspection. Upon returning that day to pick the car up the mechanic in charge informed me that the car is not roadworthy & requires extensive repairs. I informed him of why I had the inspection done, he then addressed all the issues with me & had me inspect the required repairs with him. The mechanic who inspected my car, being the caring & honest person he presents himself as, took the to explain my legal rights & what I can do in effort to mitigate the issue.It is of understanding that the apparent negligence that has occurred by Bonds Rd Mechanical Repairs did put myself, family & friend at risk. It is very probable that more than 1 criminal act may have been committed........... STAY POSTED MORE TO COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnny does a good job looking after you. The very rude carwash guys next door can be a real pain in the @#$! When trying to get in or out of the driveway.
