Lake Redbrook Holiday Retreat

We stayed in Cabin 1 for 5 nights recently! Was informed that the park is under new management and they where extremely nice! Dogs friendly and accomadating on all requirements! Will be back!

Stayed overnight en route south. Wonderful people and incredibly helpful (Sharyn & Gary). Beautifully kept, modern amenities and outlook over wetlands forces you to relax and calm. Will definitely stay again. TV & internet reception also excellent in our caravan! Do yourself a favour!Ron

Stayed for nearly 3 weeks. The owners, Peter and Luana are brilliant and run this place very well.The grounds are well mowed. There are bush walks, fishing... catch and release, heaps of bird life and they have a managery of birds and fallow deer as well. The pheasants and birds of paradise are gorgeous.All amenities are well serviced.There are areas for caravans, self contained vans and camper van plus tents.Highly recommended.

Absolute gem of a hideaway. Situated about 10 min from Childers the owners, Lou & Pete couldn’t have been more accomodating. From check in to check out we were treated to homespun hospitality.The camp grounds are complete with camp kitchen, power, clean amenities, swimming pool and water activities on the huge dam. The wildlife include magpie geese, mud hens, peacocks, pheasant, deer and the variety of fish in the catch & release dam would satisfy the most ardent fisherman.While staying in the peaceful surrounds we were regaled by the beautiful bird life, took advantage of the bush walk, and yet we’re close enough to the attractions in Bundaberg to make day-tripping an easy journey.The new owners are friendly, with plans to return this hidden paradise to a family holiday must do.Thanks. We will be back!

Really enjoyed our 3 day stay.Fishing, paddle boats, kayaks all great fun.Whistling ducks amazing. Peacocks and deer so cute.

Luana and Peter are wonderful hosts here at Lake Redbrook.We are on day 12 of a 14 day stay and love the peace and quiet. Our furry grandchild Joey is having a great time!Clean and tidy facilities. Beautiful park! Just what we need

A lovely spot, although too hot to stay in February. Beautiful lake to kayak on but kayaks were really dirty need a good scrub . Beautiful aviary full of finch shame you can’t get close as grass is waist high, amenities very clean, good sized spots for caravans with slab, grass was in need of a mow around van sites. Huge camp kitchen Not sure if I would stay there again but was very peaceful, short run into Childers for supplies. Entrance could do with a revamp as it doesn’t stand out we drove right passed it as did others we traveled with.

Lovely little park to spend a few relaxing nights. We chose to stay in a cabin which was very affordable, comfortable and had a fabulous outlook across the lake.We enjoyed fishing, watching birds, exploring the property and taking some quiet time to recharge. We arrived back home ready to face the crazy kids again!Thanks for being so accommodating, friendly and sharing your property with us.

Im impressed with the heights of your concrete slabs so easy mowing the lawn and eady 45 degree angle parking you have done a great job of design and effort putting together.

Clean and neat with modern amenities and lovely views. Plenty of things for kids and adults to do - feed the deers and peacocks, go kayaking or fishing on the lake, or explore the historical settlers hut. New owners are friendly, easy going and very helpful.Nice quiet spot off the beaten track to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.
