Paid Extra for a 2 bedroom Villa due to 3 small children so Baby could sleep and not be disturbed by other kids only to find NO CEILINGS ON ROOMS. the whole villa has a vaulted ceiling following the roof line making the rooms open air. Very basic, home handy man built. Big Glass highset windows with no curtains. No chance of stopping sunlight or headlights. Very old appliances (Circa 60's microwave and oven) broken bar fridge from Aldi. Bathroom shower had Rio bar showing through the warn flooring. No tissues, Coffee plunger provided but only instant coffee sachets. Bit odd. Didn't see a kettle. Only 1x 150ml milk provided. For $350 a night I wouldn't pay it again. Location was great. That was unfortunately the only upside.

Stayed in this resort for a long weekend two weeks ago for a girls weekend. What a shame - so much potential at this location. Beautiful scenery was the best thing about it, which is why I’ve given 2 star and not 1. This accomodation has fallen in quality since I last stayed here (it is now under different ownership). The photos online are NOTHING like what it is now. Firstly the room: dirty dirty dirty. Had to wear shoes around the room inside otherwise feet would be BLACK and sticky. There was no paper towels or tea towels to dry your dishes, nothing to stack dishes on (had to wash up own dishes). There is no stovetop in the two bedroom room, only a bbq, however there was no paper towel, cooking spray or bbq cleaner and the bbq was left in absolutely filthy condition. In 3 days there was no towel change, no turn down service, nobody changed our bins (no instructions on how to do this ourselves and no reply from reception when asked via text). Check in was contactless due to COVID-19, which is fine, but if reception is to be unmanned, texts and calls need to be answered! The shower head in the room kept falling off, and hit one guest on the head, the basin was dirty and the mirror had all toothpaste stains from last guests. There was also an opened packet of makeup wipes left behind from I assume the last guests - was the bathroom cleaned at all?!? The drinking water out of the tap was brown and warm, very unappealing. As for the ‘resort’ grounds, the pool was closed and dirty (no warning of this at all, no apology or reasoning, middle of summer in the Hunter Valley we would have loved a swim!), the pool also looks nothing at all like the photos online. The rest of the resort is dirty, i manicured gardens and unstable paths. This resort has so much potential and was an absolute dream years ago when run by Alan & Pattie. They would be so disappointed. I totally understand how badly COVID-19 has impacted businesses, but there is absolutely no excuse for dirty accomodation, we paid $700 for 2 nights in a two bedroom. Save your money and stay elsewhere!

Not sure how star ratings work but to say this is a 3 star accomodation is stretching the truth somewhat. With run down and unkept facilities and grounds no staff on site for the stay and little sign everywhere advising you of all the things you must not do, we cannot recommend this to anyone. On a positive once you look past the broken sunshades and discarded solar lights, the outlook was stunning and close to wineries

This place is dodgy! (and not a ‘resort’). Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else. Yes it is cheap and close to the vineyards, but it’s cheap for a reason.I had a bad feeling from the moment I booked. Then we arrived only to find out they had canceled our booking because they had emailed the wrong people and pretty much accused me of the mix up - even though I had given them all the correct details. My bad feeling becoming a reality. But, to their credit, in the end they did find us a unit to stay in - situation rectified. Only to walk into the very ordinary accommodation. Read other reviews. All true! I don’t know how it even passes to trade.Move forward 2 weeks and they have just taken money from my account again! And more than the original invoice (I had originally used my NSW voucher).

Well, where to start.. Firstly - don’t be fooled- the website and fb photos are not up to date- certainly not giving a true depiction of the property and buildings. The only thing anyone should gauge their stay on, is the reviews, pity we hadn’t done our research beforehand. This is definitely not a resort NOR a three star accommodation by any stretch of the imagination.I pity the poor cleaner who is trying her best to make this place presentable against all the odds.A sign in the accommodation requests you keep the place clean and do your own dishes- well that is extremely hard without any tools to help you do so. Can only wonder how the cleaner is able to do her job with what one can only imagine would be little resources also. The place looks like a junk yard - garden unkempt, rotten and dirty furniture in the gardens. The “converted carports to accommodation” are a sight to be seen.Only venture into the “outdoor kitchen” if you are truly game- it’s filthy. This place has so much potential, but obviously the owners are not interested in making any changes given the timeline on the reviews. Do yourself a favour and move on to the next listing- hopefully you’ll find something better- it certainly won’t be hard.

Beautiful location. Presents well, but far from ideal underneath.Appliances from the 80's, and shower felt like it had not been cleaned since then. Beds were rock hard.Guests are asked to clean up after themselves, but not provided the proper tools to do so.Disappointed.

Very rundown and in need of A LOT of TLC. We originally booked to stay for 2 nights. Upon seeing the place, we found alternative accommodation. We booked a 2 bedroom villa at $410 a night. The estate as a whole is clearly in need of maintenance and TLC. Inside our Villa, the need for TLC and maintenance was even more dire. The inside was dusty, dirty and dilapidated. Our first instinct was to open windows and doors to let in some fresh air. The flyscreens however were full of holes, an issue with the wasp nests outside. We ended up with several wasps inside. Every surface was littered with dead insects, including on the exposed bed linen, which was also stained. The list of maintenance required inside goes on and on...The restaurant promised by the website hasn't been operable for a while I would guess. It had the feel of a place that had been abandoned for quite some time (years?). The windows (inside and out) were covered in cobwebs, many had colonies of baby spiders. The lady we spoke to who said she looks after the place was pleasant to deal with and offered to come and do a basic clean. It is such a shame as you can see that the place has huge potential to be beautiful. I would return if I read about a reopening post renovations.

Needs some love. Vegetation very overgrown, woodwork starting to rot (especially the decks) and we had a nice little line of ants marching in the shower. On the other hand, management was very flexible in having our dates moved twice because of the balloon flight scheduling changes. Unlike most other places able to book for single night on weekend.

We recently stayed here for a few enjoyable days. It is not a resort in my opinion. It is a farm, with some old buildings, and amenities that are less good than a campsite. It also has a lovely view. We stayed as camping guests and enjoyed ourselves. I would have provided a 3 star review if the positioning and photos didn't cause us to expect everything to be of a higher quality level than it was.

This is at best suitable for backpackers. It is not a resort, basic cabins. Not enough shower wash for 4 people, no face cloths provided, furniture and fittings are dated. One power point came out of the wall when unplugging our phone. Hot water was pretty well instant but brown in the washbasin. Only one small Long-life milk which was not enough for 4 people and there was no concierge on site - you had to call for assistance. Aspect was good and plenty of kangaroos to watch. Not worth the money.
