Norwood Swim School (Swim Plus)

Great! My 3 year old loves his swimming lessons and there's also a cafe with an indoor playground. Excellent teachers. Also easy to make up lessons if you're on holidays (easier than other swim schools we've attended in the past). Front desk staff are always super friendly and helpful.

We have 4 children aged attend between 6 and 10 and have been at the school for 6 years altogether. The front desk staff are fantastic and the instructors patient and receptive to our children's needs. Our oldest is in the squad program and a member of the award winning Norwood Swimming Club. He loves his coaches and has been inspired to coach at the club one day himself. The pool water is a perfect balance between learn to swim and squad temperature. For a complete overall experience, there is no where better in SA!

We have been bringing two of our children here for several years, and couldn’t ask for more. Small class sizes, excellent instructors, and the kids’ skills are developing steadily. Our five year old can now easily swim a full 25M lap of freestyle and backstroke; his water skills and confidence are very reassuring to us as parents!The icing on the cake is a free crèche that overlooks the main pool area, run weekdays from 9-12, and a small indoor playground and cafe area. Honestly before my eldest started school this place was our Monday morning destination for at least 2 hours!

They have decreased the days for swimming for intermediates and increased the price to $91. They are so costly. There is this Assistant manager with short hair name I guess Andreya, many people stopped coming because of her and I too stoped. I dont give reviews but here I truely felt like leaving review. She is raciest and if you book more than 1 day in week she will make you feel like you are not supposed to and she is doing some kind of favour. She keeps saying people want to come for multiple days, we are being good by offering extra days and things like that. Dear Andrea please check other swimming pools and their services before behaving like this. For $91 if you only allow 1 day in a week why would any one come to your place? and if swimming owner offering multiple days for intermediates and there are lanes available, why do you show it as a favour? Anyways other people are good other instructors are good and they too said things about her but no one wish to come forward. Rest I will leave up to owner to decide!

Our daughter is 6 years old and has been now for 3 lessons. Good size (small group) classes and the instructors make the kids feel secure and happy to learn swimming.

Avoid if your kid is not 5 and above. We've been over a year, class size may be smal (4 to a class) but recently I noticed how majority of their instructors are young people just out of high school with little to no experience in managing younger kids. I am sure the instructors are all highly qualified swimmers, but they lack the early learning teaching experience. This school does not understand the importance of routine for toddlers/preschoolers. Your Permanent instructor will change without any notice to you and they tell you they will never inform you of instructor changes. This is especially disruptive to younger kids who thrive on routine, so be prepared for meltdowns at the pool if your kid learns best only with routine and consistency.

Previously 5 star. Staff are great. Management are now no longer accepting cash or monthly upfront cards payments , and cancelling bookings of you don't set up direct debit. They have also just recently removed the ability to login at any time of day to cancel the direct debit, they force you to ring up. Previously they've dialed out for hours and didn't return the call until the next day after leaving a message I'd like to cancel. 100% this is to get rolling cash from parents too busy and forgetting to cancel the direct debit. Just like gym memberships. What a pity that is a one way relationship here, not even allowed to pay in advance each month prior, when you used to be able to pay invoices received by email.

Great indoor pool for kids in eastern suburbs. The admin staff is friendly and always happy to change the schedule as per your convenience.

Very good location to bring the young children to teach them to swim. Friendly and good instructors.Shop with Coffee, cake etc as well as a small playgroundWell set up.
