Absolutely loved the food here was really nice Crunchy chips,fluffy potato scallops with crispy outside, burger was huge will definitely come back again

Oyster Kirkpatrick were yum and chips were crispy, but salad was a bit average as well as a soggy potato scallop. But would recommend taking it to Pat Morton lookout at sunset for dinner with a view

Staff and owner very friendly. My husband went back on three occasions for the barramundi and raves about it...I had the crumbed hoki and it was also lovely. Steve said thank you for the t-shirt. See you next time we are up here.

We’ve been visiting Fishy Fishy whenever we’re down at Lennox (which is regularly) since it first opened. We’ve recommended it friends and even taken visitors from overseas there.Sadly, we don’t think we’ll be back as the quality of both the food and service have declined significantly.Earlier this week we took family members there as they had heard us talking about how good it was. When we ordered we found out that we couldn’t order the Cod grilled as, according to the lady serving us, all the Cod came in already crumbed or battered. As my wife is Coeliac, neither of this is an option so she had to order grilled Hoki whilst the rest of us had the Cod.The Cod was, at best, acceptable but nowhere near what we have come to expect over the years and certainly nowhere near as good as many other places that we have been. The Hoki was bland and the portion was very small. Certainly not what you’d expect from a place that presents itself as a premium seafood place.The Calamari was rubbery and still had the outer membrane on, something we haven’t experienced for years. We left feeling very underwhelmed and apologising to our guests.Oh, did I mention the chips? There’s a reason for that.Today we went back on store to simply buy some Salad. The young staff member took our order though she didn’t seem particularly happy about it. We then sat for nearly 25 minutes waiting for it. Yes, they were certainly very busy so initially didn’t want to make a fuss. At during our wait though, the staff member who took our order, had time to restock the display fridge where the salad was also kept. At the point when someone who ordered a cooked meal, after us, was given their meal one of the cooks finally noticed us and asked what we were waiting for (just as we were standing to find out what was happening).He couldn’t believe we hadn’t received it and at least he was apologetic and gave us a whole salad rather than the half that we had ordered.Sadly, these two experiences mean that we won’t be back to Fishy Fishy again. Life is too short for below average food and service.

Great fish n chips, clean oil and good size. The service was excellent, staff polite and friendly.

Located on esplanade, near other shops, has a nice protected eating area outside, staff were lovely, quick service. We only had take away but the food was nice, fish had a lovely crumb, chips were nice too.

Such a disappointing experience. We thought we would give it another chance this weekend but still not one positive to speak of. We chose hoki as the pieces in the display looked good. The fish we received was not the fish from that display. Those pieces were all still there after our meal was prepared. The fish was dry and rubbery the chips were at best average. There is a fish and chip shop just up the street which is lovely. The only reason we didn't eat there is that they close between 2 and 5pm . Do yourself a favour and visit them instead of this place.

Terrible service!No lineup when we got here and still waiting for our order after 50 mins.We asked the waiter how long it would be as our 2 yo was getting fussy and his response was “there’s a long line dude, we only have one chef.”Calamari was stringy, kids fish bites was mainly batter, grilled snapper had heaps of bones and the chips were bland.Definitely not coming here again! Go to the Breamhole instead if you’re at Lennox

We are holidays around here for a week and we haven't been able to locate a great seafood shop until now. Wow! The meals were outstanding in terms of freshness and price wise. We ordered a dozen oysters, one grilled fish and salad and one battered fish with chips. Beautiful fresh taste. Great staff, quick and efficient. We highly recommend a visit when you are in town.
